Position Summary:
As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures &ndash; before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.
Position Details:<ul><li>
This position requires to work at Lower Manhattan clinics: (Chelsea, Lenox Hill, 1st Ave, Harlem and Fulton St.)
</li><li>This position requires to be Registered / Certified Medical Assistant.</li><li>
Must be able to work within the hours of 7am-730pm and weekends as needed</li><li>
Fluency in English and Mandarin Required</li><li>
Compensation: $20-$24/hr</li></ul>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms; assist patients with the completion of forms as necessary</li><li>
Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software and use according to company policies</li><li>
Schedule appointments and accommodate patient appointment needs, such as ordering transportation, rescheduling, etc.</li><li>
Perform clerical work as needed, i.e., copying, filing, faxing, etc.</li><li>
Comply with patient needs at all times and ensure all questions are answered</li><li>
Maintain procedure rooms by ensuring that they are neat and ready for use at all times</li><li>
Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures in accordance with instructions and individual doctor preferences</li><li>
Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after</li><li>
Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and how to obtain medication if needed</li><li>
Monitor supply levels and replace as needed</li><li>
Apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations</li><li>
Prepare IV solution</li><li>
Train new staff as needed</li><li>
Assist ultrasound staff as needed</li><li>
Transport supplies or equipment as needed</li><li>
Performs additional duties as assigned</li><li>
Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00 per hour</li></ul> 

Requirements

USA Clinics Group is looking for an organized and motivated individual to join the team as our newest Insurance Verification Specialist! This position performs the function of obtaining referrals, and/or authorizations prior to the service date for test, procedures, and admissions into the clinics.
Position Details:<ul><li>
Location: Northbrook, IL
</li><li>Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (on-site)</li><li>
Compensation: $23-$26hr based on experience and qualifications.</li></ul>
Responsibilities:<ul><li><ul><li>
Reviews referring physician and patient documentation for Medical Necessity against insurance protocol requirements for pre-certification purposes.</li><li>
Actively communicates with staff regarding status of authorization. Communicates the need for reschedule and/or cancellation if authorization not in-hand).</li><li>
Directs liaison to offices and patients regarding new, changed, or pending insurance authorizations, as well as on-going education of changes in authorization requirements.</li><li>
Responsible for scheduling STAT, emergent patients for outpatient diagnostic exams.</li><li>
Interacts with patients, their representatives, physicians, physician office staff, and others to gather and ensure accuracy of demographic, billing and clinical information.</li><li>
Produces and distributes required forms with accurate patient information.</li><li>
Respects and protects the patient&rsquo;s rights to confidentiality and privacy and discloses information only for the professional purposes which are in the patient&rsquo;s best interests with full consideration of their legal rights.</li><li>
Displays a positive attitude when interacting with provider&rsquo;s office staff, providers and fellow employees.</li><li>

Requirements

High school graduate required. Advanced education preferred.</li><li>
Bilingual in English &amp; Spanish preferred.</li><li>
At least 2 years of prior experience in a health care setting handling benefit verification and prior authorizations, required

Strong computers skills and excellent typing skills</li><li>
