Job Summary:

The Performance Analyst assists National Team (NT) and National Junior Team (NJT) athletes and coaches in their pursuit of international success through the provision of expert performance-related services. 


Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide direct performance services to NT and NJT athletes and coaches including:</li>
<li>Expert feedback on all technical components of swimming.</li>
<li>Race analysis data and information.</li>
<li>Video services in training and at competition.</li>
<li>Pre-competition and in-competition data and analysis at major domestic and international competitions.</li>
<li>Develop strong working relationships with NT coaches and athletes through regular interaction and proactive communication.</li>
<li>Assist in the development and evolution of the National Team Division&rsquo;s race analysis and race data services.</li>
<li>Assist with performance planning for major international competitions.</li>
<li>Stay up to date on developing technologies in the swimming and training worlds and make recommendations for appropriate integrations to services.</li>
<li>Maintain an understanding of trends in international swimming and swimming analysis communities to ensure that USA Swimming is on the cutting edge of service provision.</li>
</ul>
Other Duties:
<ul>
<li>Provide performance services to athletes and coaches at competitions and training camps.</li>
<li>Perform site visits to relevant NT programs as needed.</li>
<li>Assist with event planning when needed, including dates and time standards.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

<li>Ability to maintain professionalism to ensure a strong representation of USA Swimming and the NT.</li></ul> 


Education &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in sports management, sport science, related field, or equivalent preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum five years&rsquo; experience as a swim coach or administrator. Experience working with elite-level athletes preferred.</li>
<li>Experience setting up and operating sophisticated camera equipment (camcorders, GoPro&rsquo;s, etc.) or the ability to learn quickly.</li>
<li>Understanding and experience with international level swimming, to include stroke techniques, details (starts, turns, etc.), race strategy, and high-performance goals.</li>
<li>Experience with race analysis software, video sharing/playback platforms, and Apple products.</li>
<li>Experience working with analytical software(s) to provide statistical and analytical reporting.</li>
<li>Knowledge of or experience with National Governing Bodies and the Olympic Movement.</li></ul> 


Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the year.</li>
<li>Must maintain proper documentation that allows for international travel.</li>
<li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time, transport equipment up to 75 pounds, and manage energy expenditure over trips that can last several weeks.</li>
<li>This position works in an office setting in the USA Swimming headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO; must be willing to relocate to Colorado Springs or the surrounding area.</li></ul> 


Salary &amp; Benefits:
<ul>
<li>Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 annually.</li>
<li>Bonus Eligibility: Based on company performance, this position may be eligible for an annual target bonus of 7.50%</li>
