Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves working with accounting software and assisting in the preparation of financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.</li><li>Conduct account reconciliation and general ledger accounting tasks to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.</li><li>Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable records and reconciliations.</li><li>Utilize accounting software, QuickBooks Online.</li><li>Collaborate with team members providing support and information, as needed.</li><li>Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance.</li><li>Reconcile vendors aging reports and file invoices weekly.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in accounting, AP, AR, reconciliations.</li><li>Ability to learn processes, procedures and possess flexibility.</li><li>Familiarity with accounting software (., ADP, Quickbooks online) or other accounting computer programs, is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge and experience using office equipment.</li><li>Strong proficiency with attention to detail. Typing 45 WPM and 10-key by touch data entry is required.
