<div><div><div><div><p><b>General Description: </b>Manage 30 to 50 middle-market Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the day-to-day client contact. Activities include new and renewal marketing, fielding questions and requests and coverage review. Assist Sales Executives and Account Executives.<br>

<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines clients.
</li><li>Provide insurance technical expertise to clients and other members of the Account Management team.
</li><li>Responsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewals.
<ul><li>With assistance from Account Representatives, prepare client applications for review.</li><li>
Determine most-appropriate carriers for market pricing.</li><li>
Analyze and compare carrier quotes and coverage offerings.
</li><li>Make insurance program recommendations to clients.</li></ul></li><li>
Manage client renewal expirations and avoid any lapse in coverage.</li><li>
Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients.</li><li>
Process policies, endorsements and audits as needed.</li><li>
Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts.</li><li>
Represent client interests in internal USI account strategy meetings.</li><li>
Delegate administrative client tasks to assigned Account Representatives.
</li><li>Respond to underwriters&rsquo; questions in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems.</li>
Occasional in-person attendance at face-to-face client meetings.<br>

<p><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b></p><ul><li>
2-5 years experience in a Commercial Lines agency. College degree preferred.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Property &amp; Casualty insurance.
</li><li>Must hold or be willing to earn Property &amp; Casualty insurance license.</li><li>
Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred</li><li>
Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.</li><li>
Knowledge of Sagitta / ImageRight preferred, but not required.</li><li>
Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.</li><li>

CL Account Manager

<div><div><div><div><div><b>General Description:</b> Manages Employee Benefits insurance accounts and services as their day-to-day contact.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Major Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Manage a book of business comprised of fully insured clients but may include some self-insured clients.</li><li>
Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned clients. Act as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers.</li><li>
As needed, preparation of materials needed for client meetings. Educate, advise and aid clients on all Compliance topics. Including, but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform.</li><li>
Set up new group insurance contracts for existing clients or new clients.</li><li>
Manage the renewal process including the preparation of appropriate contractual changes.</li><li>
Implement and manage programs recommended by technical resources (e.g. wellness, communications, strategies, pharmacy)</li><li>
May be responsible for the marketing and placement of new benefit products.</li><li><ul><li>
Prepare client application for review</li><li>

Develop employee communications for renewal changes, enrollment procedures, benefit changes and/or clarifications.</li><li>

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
2-4 years experience in employee benefits industry or related marketplace. College degree preferred.</li><li>
Prior customer service experience is preferred.</li><li>
Must hold or be willing to earn life and disability insurance license.</li><li>
Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.</li><li>
Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.</li><li>
