Serve as primary contact, responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Understand and execute marketing, analyze options, present recommendations, and implement insurance programs. Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Accountable for the client relationship, account retention, and developing a comprehensive and competitive insurance program.</li><li>
Work independently to inform and educate clients on policy changes, exclusions, insurance coverages, and insurance industry trends.</li><li>
Respond to client and insurance carrier requests within agreed upon timeframes.
</li><li>Manage renewal workflow for assigned book of business, avoiding any lapse in coverage.
</li><li>Negotiate renewal and/or new line of coverage with knowledge of carrier underwriting guidelines.
</li><li>Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, as needed.</li><li>
Assist clients with claims reporting.
</li><li>Adhere to company&rsquo;s credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments. Request cancellations in accordance with company standards.</li><li>
Manage client account in accordance with USI guidelines and key performance indicators.</li><li>
Keep current on industry information, technology, and trends.</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
2 years of experience in a Commercial Property &amp; Casualty insurance agency.</li><li>
College degree preferred.</li><li>
Must hold or be willing to earn Property and Casualty insurance license.</li><li>
Hold an industry designation or be willing to further industry knowledge through courses.</li><li>
Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight preferred.</li><li>
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</li><li>
Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy.</li></ul><div>

Select Commercial Lines Account Manager

<div><div><div><div><p><b>General Description: </b>Manage 30 to 50 middle-market Commercial Lines insurance accounts as the day-to-day client contact. Activities include new and renewal marketing, fielding questions and requests and coverage review. Assist Sales Executives and Account Executives.<br>

Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines clients.
</li><li>Provide insurance technical expertise to clients and other members of the Account Management team.
</li><li>Responsible for marketing and placement of client Commercial Lines insurance renewals.
<ul><li>With assistance from Account Representatives, prepare client applications for review.</li><li>
Determine most-appropriate carriers for market pricing.</li><li>
Analyze and compare carrier quotes and coverage offerings.
</li><li>Make insurance program recommendations to clients.</li></ul></li><li>
Manage client renewal expirations and avoid any lapse in coverage.</li><li>
Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients.</li><li>
Process policies, endorsements and audits as needed.</li><li>
Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts.</li><li>
Represent client interests in internal USI account strategy meetings.</li><li>
Delegate administrative client tasks to assigned Account Representatives.

CL Account Manager

<div><div><div><div><div><b>General Description:</b> Manages Employee Benefits insurance accounts and services as their day-to-day contact.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Major Responsibilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Manage a book of business comprised of fully insured clients but may include some self-insured clients.</li><li>
Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned clients. Act as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers.</li><li>
As needed, preparation of materials needed for client meetings. Educate, advise and aid clients on all Compliance topics. Including, but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s and Health Care Reform.</li><li>
Set up new group insurance contracts for existing clients or new clients.</li><li>
Manage the renewal process including the preparation of appropriate contractual changes.</li><li>
Implement and manage programs recommended by technical resources (e.g. wellness, communications, strategies, pharmacy)</li><li>
May be responsible for the marketing and placement of new benefit products.</li><li><ul><li>
