About the Role</h3>
The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across the organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role formulates strong partnerships across business units to deliver value-added HR services aligned with organizational goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution across all areas of Human Resources.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You'll Do</h3>
As our HR Business Partner, you will:<ul><li>
Partner with leaders to identify HR needs and provide proactive, practical solutions.</li><li>
Lead and support recruiting, hiring, change management, and employee exit processes.</li><li>
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions.</li><li>
Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough and objective investigations.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and internal policies.</li><li>
Support compensation strategy through market benchmarking, internal equity analysis, and employee education.</li><li>
Assist with payroll processing, HRIS management, reporting, and process improvements.</li><li>
Support benefits administration including open enrollment, vendor servicing, and employee education.</li><li>
Contribute to workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational restructuring efforts.</li><li>
Conduct stay and exit interviews and provide meaningful insights to leadership.</li><li>
Represent UTFCU at recruiting events and serve as a key point of contact for employee HR inquiries.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You Bring</h3><ul><li>
Minimum 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge across multiple HR disciplines, including:<ul><li>
Employee relations</li><li>
Compensation and benefits</li><li>
Payroll processing</li><li>
HRIS management</li><li>
Performance management</li><li>
Federal and state employment law</li></ul></li><li>
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.</li><li>
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required.</li><li>
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
High level of discretion and confidentiality.</li><li>
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Ability to build trust quickly and serve as a credible, professional HR advisor.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
