JOB SUMMARY
 We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with expertise in healthcare finance to support the Clinical practice and Education Finance operations within the Department of Neurology. This role is responsible for providing thorough and accurate data to both internal and external departmental leadership, with a focus on developing comprehensive budgets that support the growth of our clinical and educational missions. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, leveraging detailed analyses of financial benchmarks, trends, and variances, along with a critical evaluation of business practices, to inform high-impact decisions and shape robust business plans. A key responsibility will be to lead the development of standardized processes for monthly and periodic financial tracking and reporting, ensuring alignment with the annual budgeting cycle. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the foresight to explore and implement solutions to enhance financial analysis and deliver accurate, data-informed projections within clinical finance. This position plays a vital role in the optimization of revenue cycle operations across hospital and clinic settings. Please note that this position does not offer H1B visa sponsorship. Selected candidate must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex or be willing to relocate. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
 
Required
 Education
 Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or other related field
 
Experience
 4 years of progressively responsible experience in finance and/or accounting with experience in planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
 
JOB DUTIES
 Completes variety of complex monthly financial management reports and reviews all reports for errors and inconsistencies; analyzes variations in forecasts and actual performance; determines reasons for variance; develops recommendations for improvement; completes written summaries of financial data.
 Prepares and/or supervises preparation of monthly financial reports, schedules for annual financial reports, and reports to various government agencies, ensuring conformance of such reports with applicable procedures and regulations of University of Texas System and Federal and State agencies.
 Identifies areas of poor performance, presents findings, and makes recommendations to upper management.
 Prepares financial models and conducts financial analyses.
 May maintain controls for policies and procedures for financial system; develops and maintains delegation of authority of various procedures, such as check requests, refunds, invoice approval, bad debt write-offs, etc.
 Completes more complex special projects as requested.
 Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY
 UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanic I to join our Utilities team. We are looking for someone with at least two years of semi-skilled mechanic experience. Preferred skills include mechanical and electrical knowledge, hand and power tools skills, welding, soldering, plumbing-pipe fitting skills, welding or electrical certifications, and experience with pumps, rotating equipment, or steam systems .
 As a Mechanic I, you will perform semi-skilled mechanical and electrical maintenance work within a power plant and chilling station environment. Working under close supervision, this role assists with the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of plant equipment, utility systems, chilling station, and distribution systems. Duties include supporting trade personnel, completing basic corrective tasks, maintaining repair records, identifying safety hazards, and keeping equipment and work areas clean.
 Work Location : Dallas Campus; assist other UTSW locations as needed.
 Shift Requirement : Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call availability for emergency repairs.

 Assists in installation, maintenance and repair of plant equipment or utility systems.
 Performs preventive or corrective maintenance tasks incidental to operation of mechanical, electrical or utility tunnel distribution systems in accordance with established procedures.
 Maintains records of equipment repair.
 Works in conjunction with trades or craft personnel in support of systems within power plant, chilling stations, utility tunnels or other underground utilities.
 May complete work orders using automated maintenance program systems.
 Informs appropriate personnel of unusual conditions, problems or deficiencies.
 Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas.

 Performs other duties as assigned.
