Requirements<div> 
Lead iOS and Android development using React Native and TypeScript; set standards 
for code quality, testing, and reviews. 
<ul><li>Architect scalable, maintainable mobile solutions (state management, navigation,</li></ul>
caching, offline-first and analytics). 
<ul><li>Deliver pixel-perfect UI from Figma with high-quality animations and consistent</li></ul>
behaviour across devices. 
<ul><li>Own mobile release management: CI/CD, OTA updates (where applicable), store</li></ul>
submissions, and post-release monitoring. 
<ul><li>Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts, performance, and reliability; ensure</li></ul>
robust error handling and observability. 
<ul><li>Mentor and support engineers through sprints, planning, estimation, technical guidance,</li></ul>
and 1:1 coaching. 
<ul><li>Report weekly to the Head of Engineering on progress, risks, and roadmap delivery.</li></ul>
Must-have requirements 
<ul><li>7+ years building mobile apps with 3+ years of production React Native experience at</li></ul>
scale. 
<ul><li>Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals; proven ability to write clean,</li></ul>
well-structured code (not just glue code). 
<ul><li>Deep mobile fundamentals: performance profiling, memory management, networking,</li></ul>
offline storage, and app lifecycle. 
<ul><li>Hands-on experience with mobile CI/CD and release pipelines (Fastlane, EAS, GitHub</li></ul>
Actions/Bitrise/CircleCI, etc.). 
<ul><li>Experience with OTA updates and feature flagging strategies.</li></ul></div><ul><li>Excellent understanding of iOS/Android UX patterns and App Store / Play Store</li></ul>
requirements. 
<ul><li>Leadership experience guiding a remote or cross-functional team; strong communication</li></ul>
and accountability. 
Nice-to-have 
<ul><li>Expo (managed workflow) and EAS build experience.</li><li>Node.js API familiarity (to collaborate effectively with backend teams).</li><li>Advanced UI/graphics work (e.g., maps/GPS, charts, OpenGL/Canvas, animation-heavy</li></ul>
experiences). 
<ul><li>Experience in fintech, loyalty, e-commerce, delivery/logistics, gaming or high-traffic</li></ul>
consumer apps. 
<ul><li>PostgreSQL knowledge and data modelling awareness (helpful for end-to-end thinking).</li></ul>
