Job Title: Product &amp; Sourcing Manager &ndash; Multi categoryCompany: Vaanam Furnishings Pvt LtdLocation: Coimbatore, Tamil NaduKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Category Management and Product Sourcing:</li><li>Develop and implement the overall strategy for multiple categories that include furniture, furnishings, home d&eacute;cor and steel utensils, aligning with the company's objectives and market trends.</li><li>Source a wide range of product assortment from various manufacturers and suppliers across India, ensuring product quality and competitive pricing.</li><li>Identify new product opportunities and stay updated with industry trends to keep the category assortment fresh and relevant.</li><li>Supplier Management and Negotiation:</li><li>Cultivate strong relationships with existing suppliers and constantly evaluate their performance to ensure consistent product supply and service levels.</li><li>Identify and onboard new suppliers, conducting due diligence and negotiating favorable terms and conditions to maximize cost efficiencies.</li><li>Inventory Management and Sales Analysis:</li><li>Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory costs.</li><li>Analyze sales performance, consumer behaviour, and market trends to make informed decisions for assortment planning and stock replenishment.</li><li>Cross-functional Collaboration:</li><li>Work closely with the marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of category initiatives.</li><li>Provide product training to sales staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.</li></ul>Qualifications and Requirements:<ul><li>Any bachelor&rsquo;s or master&rsquo;s degree.</li><li>Proven experience of 8 to 10 years as an active Category/Product/Sourcing/Buying Manager in a relevant mid-scale retail chain or showroom.</li><li>Selected candidate shall receive salary ranging from INR 80,000 to INR 1,00,000 per month based on qualifications and experience in the retail sector. Additional benefits such as health insurance, leave entitlements, and performance-based incentives will also be provided.</li><li>Strong network and sourcing experience in furniture or furnishings or home d&eacute;cor or steel utensils market or all above, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing a diverse product portfolio.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make data-driven decisions.</li><li>Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain practices.</li></ul>1.
