<p>We&rsquo;re currently seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to support the daily operations of our Engineering and Maintenance Department. In this leadership role, you&rsquo;ll work closely with the Chief Engineer to maintain resort facilities, support engineering staff, oversee maintenance operations, and help ensure an exceptional guest experience.</p>
<p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You&rsquo;ll Do:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Support daily Engineering and Maintenance operations across the resort</li>
<li>Assist with preventive maintenance programs and property inspections</li>
<li>Perform and oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance</li>
<li>Monitor maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders</li>
<li>Help supervise, schedule, train, and support Engineering team members</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and company safety standards</li>
<li>Coordinate work performed by outside contractors and vendors</li>
<li>Maintain engineering shop inventory, supplies, and organization</li>
<li>Assist with emergency response procedures and participate in on-call coverage</li>
<li>Deliver outstanding guest service while maintaining professionalism and teamwork</li>
</ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What We&rsquo;re Looking For:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of hospitality engineering or maintenance leadership experience preferred</li>
<li>Resort or timeshare experience highly desirable</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance systems</li>
<li>Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word</li>
<li>Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call shifts</li>
<li>Ability to lift and move equipment/materials as needed</li>
