The Marketing Coordinator supports the efforts of the VVF Marketing Department&rsquo;s arts and athletics projects. The responsibilities are diverse, and the successful candidate is willing and able to &ldquo;wear many hats.&rdquo; A high energy level, excellent multitasking, and very self-motivated person is essential. The position offers hands-on involvement in a variety of marketing projects at all stages from concept to execution. This individual must be comfortable taking on and executing a multitude of diverse tasks to help reach the goals of the marketing department and produce results that meet the standard of excellence for the Vail Valley Foundation.QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCEA successful candidate should possess:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing/communications or a related field, preferred.</li><li>Previous marketing experience.</li><li>Highly organized with keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Highly passionate about assigned projects and campaigns, with an infectious enthusiasm that enhances team collaboration.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department, as well as those outside of the organization.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner.</li><li>Proficient knowledge of Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Social Media Platforms, WordPress, and others.</li><li>Willingness to work irregular and long hours as needed leading up to and during events.</li><li>Willingness to work in outdoor conditions with variable weather.</li><li>Ability to perform physical labor as needed.</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Support the coordination and execution of marketing team initiatives, working in collaboration with team members.</li><li>Facilitate in-house graphic design needs, including presentation decks, sales/marketing collateral, posters, and others.</li><li>Assist in maintaining and growing the VVF websites and apps. This includes, but is not limited to content updates, monitoring, and tracking.</li><li>Assist in content development, placement and oversight across digital platforms.</li><li>Grow, maintain and activate via social media outlets including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others.</li><li>Assist in external email marketing efforts including design, layout, scheduling, sending and growing database YOY.</li><li>Assist sales department as necessary to support corporate partner engagement.</li><li>Work with community contacts and local partners to support project initiatives.</li><li>Organize photo/video libraries and various department archives.</li><li>Assist with general departmental administrative duties as necessary</li><li>Support marketing team efforts across all events, projects and venues.</li></ul>*This job description is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities; additional duties may be assigned.BENEFITS &amp; COMPENSATIONThis is an hourly, full-time year-round position eligible for all VVF employment benefits.<ul><li>Hourly range is $23-$28 per hour, depending on experience.</li></ul>In-person position required to be performed on-site at VVF&rsquo;s office in Avon, CO.Our employees are a critical part of who we are and employee wellness is an important priority for our organization.
