<div><p>The responsibilities of the Virtual Teller is to provide members with services such as but not limited to, cash and check withdrawals, cash and check deposits, transfers, loan and visa payments, transaction information, and product/services recommendations. The Virtual Teller will assist members via the Interactive Teller Machines located at multiple Branch locations. The Virtual Teller is constantly seeking out opportunities to expand our member?s relationship with the Credit Union through education of products and services that will benefit the financial needs of our members. This role requires the willingness to work flexible schedules to accommodate the hours and business needs of the Virtual Branch.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Displays an engaging, on-screen presence, positive attitude, and effective communication style through video conferencing.</li>
<li>Facilitates ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) process for members by providing step-by-step guidance during the member interaction, with a focus on educating members how the technology works to make them comfortable and competent utilizing the machine.</li>
<li>Works independently and uses effective problem-solving skills to complete member requests and resolve issues.</li>
<li>Performs routine teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing accurately, verbally confirming intended transactions with member prior to completion.</li>
<li>Balance virtual teller drawer by verifying all transactions match daily balance reports from TellerNow! and Symitar. Complete individual check balancing and posting to the appropriate GL for cash transactions. Immediately notify Supervisor of any discrepancies.</li>
<li>Actively listens to identify product/service recommendations during the member interaction while creating small talk to build rapport and increase member engagement.</li>
<li>Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.</li>
<li>Other duties may be required from time-to-time to assist the Call Center and Digital Banking Leadership teams as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul><li><div><ul><li>Must have 2+ years of customer service and cash handling experience.</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.</li>
<li>Employee must be professional, dependable, and flexible</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills with members as well as co-workers</li>
<li>Maintain enthusiasm towards job functions and duties</li>
<li>Maintain thorough knowledge of all Credit Union products and services</li>
<li>Ability to evaluate each member?s financial situation and cross-sell beneficial products and services</li>
<li>Support sales and service objectives; meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals as set forth by management</li>
<li>Employee must possess problem resolution skills</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of rules and regulations that govern credit unions including but not limited to, BSA, OFAC and Reg. CC.</li>
<li>Perform job functions independently, or with limited supervision, and work effectively either on own or as part of a team.</li>

<li>Complete complex mathematical calculations and spell accurately</li>

<li>Exercise highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters</li>
</ul></div></li></ul><p><b>Pay Range &amp; Work Schedule:</b></p>
<ul><li>This position is a Tier 4, with a pay rate ranging from $21- $26 per hour
<ul><li>The anticipated pay rate for new hires is between the low-end and midpoint of the range, depending on experience</li>
<li>The pay rates listed above are based upon the geographic location of our Administrative Offices in Modesto, CA using the greater Central Valley area for our pay range calculations</li>
</ul></li><li>Full Time, typically 36-40 hours per week. Schedule will be based around branch's hours of operation, which are as follows:
<ul><li>Monday to Thursday- 9am to 5:30pm</li>
<li>Friday- 9am to 6pm</li>
<li>Saturday- 9am to 1pm (rotating shifts)</li>
<li>Flexibility to occasionally work early or late hours, typically with advance notice</li></ul></li></ul></div>
