<div>The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable network and telephony infrastructure that supports the credit union&rsquo;s operations and member services. This role ensures optimal network performance, compliance with regulatory standards, and provides advanced technical expertise for escalated issues. Additionally, the Senior Network Engineer serves as a key technology resource for enterprise projects, collaborating with the Enterprise Project Management Office to deliver network requirements for new initiatives and system enhancements.
Network &amp; Telephony
<ul><li>Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and telephony systems.</li>
<li>Configure and install network and voice hardware/software, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and VoIP platforms.</li>
<li>Create and maintain accurate network and telephony topology diagrams and documentation.</li>
<li>Monitor network and telephony performance and integrity using appropriate tools.</li>
<li>Diagnose and resolve escalated network and voice-related issues</li>
<li>Conduct on-site visits and remote troubleshooting as needed.</li>
</ul>
Security &amp; Compliance
<ul><li>Implement and maintain robust network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption protocols.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with NCUA, FFIEC, GLBA and other regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Stay current on emerging security risks and recommend improvements.</li>
</ul>
Project &amp; Collaboration
<ul><li>Act as the primary liaison between the Technology team and the Enterprise</li>
<li>Project Management Office for network and telephony-related initiatives.</li>
<li>Provide technical expertise and requirements for new projects and system upgrades.</li>
<li>Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless implementation.</li>
</ul>
Support &amp; Communication
<ul><li>Deliver professional, timely support to internal teams and vendors for network and telephony issues.</li>
<li>Keep management informed of key operating issues and risks.</li>
<li>May work after hours or weekends as required for critical maintenance or emergencies.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Experience, Education, and Skills
Required
<ul><li>3+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of network operating systems</li>
<li>Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Active Directory.</li>
<li>Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues across WAN and remote locations.</li>
<li>Experience installing, configuring, and supporting network hardware and software.</li>
</ul>
Preferred
<ul><li>Relevant industry certifications such as Network+, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.</li>
<li>Familiarity with scripting and workflow automation (PowerShell or similar).</li>
<li>Experience with network security best practices and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, GLBA, FFIEC, NCUA).</li>
<li>Knowledge of telephony systems and cloud networking environments.</li>
</ul>
Pay Range:
<ul><li>This position is a Tier 10, with a pay rate ranging from $31.54 to $47.31 per hour</li>
<li>The anticipated pay rate for new hires is between the low-end and midpoint of the range, depending on experience</li>
<li>The pay rates listed above are based upon the geographic location of our Administrative Offices in Modesto, CA using the greater Central Valley area for our pay range calculations</li></ul></div>

Network Engineer

<div>The Member Experience Specialist effectively assesses individual member inquiries and provides solutions to meet member needs and credit union objectives. Provides member education and identify cross selling opportunities with an emphasis on strengthening member relationships.
<ul><li>Open various new accounts, process necessary information and educate themembers as to services/products available as a result. (For example, Visa check card, online banking, automated teller, etc.)</li>
<li>Use every member contact as an opportunity to advise member about additional services or programs they will benefit from.</li>
<li>Assist with wide variety of member services including open/close Shared Certificates, assist members with checkbooks, process credit card/loan applications, solve fraud issues, close accounts, etc.</li>
<li>Assist members with opening CD?s and educate customers as to penalties, earnings, etc.</li>
<li>Explain and expedite the opening, closing, transfer, and rollover of IRA certificates.</li>
<li>Set up auto transfers and sign-up members for ACH transfers and wires.</li>
<li>Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Experience, Education &amp; Skills
<ul><li>2? 4 years of customer service experience</li>
<li>1 year + of similar or related experience, including time spent in financial or sales and service positions.</li>
<li>Knowledge and proven ability in troubleshooting issues that may arise with digital technologies including websites</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED is required.</li>
<li>Ability to analyze and make sound decisions</li>
<li>Employee must be professional, dependable, and flexible</li>
<li>Maintain enthusiasm towards job functions and duties</li>
<li>Maintain thorough knowledge of all Credit Union products and services</li>
<li>Ability to evaluate each member?s financial situation and cross-sell beneficial products and services</li>
<li>Support service and sales objectives; meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals as set forth by management</li>
<li>Maintain knowledge of rules and regulations that govern credit unions including but not limited to, BSA, OFAC and Reg. CC.</li>
</ul>
Pay Range and Schedule:
<ul><li>This position is a Tier 6, with a pay rate ranging from $22.00- $28.00 per hour
<ul><li>The anticipated pay rate for new hires is between the low-end and midpoint of the range, depending on experience</li>
<li>The pay rates listed above are based upon the geographic location of our Administrative Offices in Modesto, CA using the greater Central Valley area for our pay range calculations</li>
<li>Full Time, typically 36-40 hours per week</li>
</ul></li><li>Schedule will be based around branch's hours of operation, which are as follows:
<ul><li>Monday to Thursday- 9am to 5:30pm</li>
<li>Friday- 9am to 6pm</li>
<li>Saturday- 9am to 1pm (rotating shift)</li>
<li>Flexibility to occasionally work early or late hours, typically with advance notice</li></ul></li></ul></div>
