Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated, part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality urgent care services to patients of all ages with a variety of acute and non-emergent conditions. This role offers flexibility with shift scheduling within our operating hours of 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries</li><li>Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments</li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, etc.)</li><li>Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with California scope of practice</li><li>Perform minor procedures including wound care, suturing, splinting, abscess I&amp;D</li><li>Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation</li><li>Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and support staff</li><li>Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility protocols</li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Active California Nurse Practitioner license (FNP, ANP, or AGNP)</li><li>Active DEA registration</li><li>Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred</li><li>Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience (urgent care, emergency, or primary care preferred)</li><li>Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li><li>Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience</li><li>Experience with procedural skills (suturing, splinting, I&amp;D, etc.)</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, Per diemPay: $60.00 - $95.00 per hourExpected hours: 4 &ndash; 24 per weekWork Location: In person
