Valley-Wide Health Systems is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dentist to provide high-quality, comprehensive dental care to patients in our clinic. This role supports our mission by delivering patient-centered dental services, promoting oral health education, and contributing to the overall well-being of the communities we serve. The Dentist works collaboratively with dental and medical teams to ensure safe, effective, and accessible care for individuals across the lifespan.</div></div><p></p><div><div><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
Provide high-quality, compassionate dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of general dentistry services such as preventive care, operative dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery; refer patients as appropriate.</div></li><li><div>
Deliver emergency dental care during designated walk-in hours or as needed.</div></li><li><div>
Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with ADA guidelines and best practices.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinate dental clinic operations and programs in collaboration with the Dental Director and other departments.</div></li><li><div>
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and comply with infection control standards, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.</div></li><li><div>
Adhere to all federal, state, and Colorado State Dental Board rules and regulations.</div></li><li><div>
Participate in conferences, meetings, and professional development activities as assigned.</div></li><li><div>
Support dental education efforts by participating in student externship and residency programs, including mentoring and co-signing charts as designated.</div></li><li><div>
Contribute to the evaluation and supervision of dental support staff, hygienists, dental assistants, and students/residents as assigned.</div></li><li><div>
Complete clinical administrative duties, documentation, peer reviews, and related activities necessary for comprehensive patient care.</div></li><li><div>
Provide dental services at assigned locations; travel between sites may be required.</div></li><li><div>
Perform supervisory duties as assigned by the Dental Director.</div></li></ul><p>
</p><div><div><b>Requirements</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
DDS/DMD license active in Colorado.
</div></li><li><div>BLS Certification, current unrestricted DEA issued in CO</div></li><li><div>
Complete CE requirements per Colorado State Board</div></li><li><div>
Completion of residency program or one-year previous experience in practice of dentistry preferred</div></li><li><div>
Ability to work in a team environment. Sensitive to low-income, ethnic, minority community</div></li><li><div>
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills</div></li></ul><p></p><div><div><b>
