<div><div><div>Under the direction of the Manager of Patient Access, this position registers patients while ensuring accurate and timely processing of all accounts, including obtaining and validating demographic information, insurance information, and processing of necessary paperwork for patient appointments. This position requires necessary verification of insurance eligibility and collection of monies owed. Ensures AHCCCS verifications are processed on every self-pay or unverifiable payer source. This position works with management and other staff to identify and resolve issues that threaten billing and reimbursement.</div>

<ul><li>Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. <ul><li>Must have the ability to travel to clinics throughout the system based on staffing needs.</li>
<li>Requires excellent data entry skills, including 10-key by touch and accurate typing of 30 words per minute.</li>

<li>Must be able to demonstrate obtaining and validating demographic information to accurately and timely complete the patient&rsquo;s medical record.</li>

<div><b>Education:</b></div>
<ul><li>Requires a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a behavioral health or criminal justice-related field with 2 years of behavioral health experience or BHT level with two years of behavioral health experience specific to the program position.</li>
<li>Pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code R9-10-306 CHAPTER 10 of the Dept. of Health Services, personnel must be at least 21 years of age or at least 18 years of age and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member&rsquo;s scope of practice.</li>
</ul><div><b>Experience:</b></div>
<ul><li>Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience working within the criminal justice system or community health services that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.</li>
<li>Previous strategy and basic data and reporting experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Previous program implementation or development is preferred.</li>
</ul><div><b>Certification/Licensure:</b></div>
<ul><li>Must obtain a fingerprint card as defined in Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) 36-425.03 and state licensing rule R9-10-1011(A)(4) within 90 days of employment.</li>
<li>Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid AZ-issued driver&rsquo;s license in good standing and must carry the AZ legally required minimum insurance coverage on personal vehicle at all times.</li>
<li>Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.</li>

Justice Liaison BH

<div></div><div><div><div>Under the direction of the IT Application Manager, this position is responsible for the continuing deployment and development of vendor-proprietary hospital application software necessary to run business, clinical, or financial systems within an extensive integrated hospital system. This position independently analyzes existing and proposed vendor-supplied software functionality to determine if the software conforms with current clinical health system workflow processes. The position utilizes specialized, proprietary software tool sets to enable software functionality, partners within project teams to achieve team goals and outcomes, provides measurable customer service, and performs duties within Valleywise Health missions and values. This position will frequently work with members of the Project Management Office to lead information technology deployment and optimization efforts based on the organization's performance improvement objectives.</div>
