As an HVAC Technician, you&rsquo;ll directly support critical mill operations, work on complex industrial systems, perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, and play a key role in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
 
 
 
 Your Day-to-Day Impact
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (filters, belts, bearings, lubrication, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct daily equipment inspections and system rounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC system issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Install new HVAC systems and enhance existing systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Support overhead crane cab HVAC repairs and retrofits
 </li>
 <li>
 Read and interpret gauges, meters, and system schematics
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
 </li>
 <li>
 Reassemble and test equipment following repairs
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect systems to ensure compliance with specifications and identify malfunctions
 </li>
 <li>
 Advocate for safety standards including LOTO, confined space, fall protection, and arc flash procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a clean and safe work environment

 </ul>
 
 What You Bring
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for candidates who are sharp, safety-focused, and ready to roll up their sleeves:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience as an HVAC technician in an industrial environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Universal HVAC certification and Freon certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of HVAC systems, building systems, and electronic schematics
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with electrical systems (single-phase, three-phase, and DC circuits)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret technical diagrams and troubleshoot complex systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance systems (MP2 preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and teamwork skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and take initiative
