We are seeking a motivated Engineering Fresh Graduate to join our team in Westside support Service Area, Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) as a Sales Trainee.
This role offers hands-on experience in engineering processes, project execution, and technical problem-solving within Valmet&rsquo;s advanced flow control solutions. It is designed to provide structured learning and a clear path for career development.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Assist during sales process such as proposal preparation, pre-qualification, and post-order documentation for MRO &amp; Projects.
</li><li>Support factory/ project teams in implementing engineering procedures and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve delivery timelines and objectives.
</li><li>Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during order execution.
</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
</li><li>Assist Sales Manager in setting up events and seminars.
</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental standards in all activities.
</li></ul>Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>BSc/MSc in Mechanical or Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
</li><li>Fresh graduate or having max. 1 year of professional experience.
</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
</li><li>Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
</li></ul>Preferred Skills:
<ul><li>Familiarity with valves, actuators, and flow control systems.
</li><li>Basic knowledge of automation and process control.
</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and engineering documentation tools.

Trainee, Technical Sales

We are now looking for a Project and Service Sales Manager!
In this position you will play a key role developing service operations in Turkey , managing and supporting local customer projects and service agreements. You will support sales and marketing of capital and service solutions, participate in onsite works during mill outages and manage and coordinate site works and local subcontractors.
Istanbul would be the preferred location, however admitting other locations in Turkey.
Your main responsibilities are
<ul><li>Managing local projects and service agreements.
</li><li>Supporting local sales activities by working closely with sales managers involved in the Turkish market from the main units located in Nordic countries
</li><li>Participating in project cost calculations, follow-up and reporting
</li><li>Preparing project planning and schedules
</li><li>Managing local procurement of materials, sub-suppliers and manpower
</li><li>Developing and managing local contractor network
</li><li>Preparing project documentation
</li><li>Supervising service project deliveries and emergency repairs
</li><li>Preparing customer visit and project reports
</li><li>Managing reference control, including customer feedback and satisfaction
</li><li>Following-up on receivables, warranty/quality issues and lost orders
</li></ul>What you need to succeed in this role
<ul><li>Technical background with a minimum of BEng degree or equivalent in mechanical / process / thermal engineering
</li><li>Minimum of 8-year experience from project deliveries and works, preferably related to power plant and energy production operations
</li><li>Good experience from site supervision work
</li><li>Fluent written and spoken English
</li><li>Service-minded, with excellent project management skills
</li><li>Capacity of preparing technical reports and documentation and using project reporting systems
</li><li>Good technical knowledge of power plant and/or pulp mill recovery processes is considered as advantage
</li><li>Ability to operate both independently and as a team member, with good interpersonal skills
</li><li>Willingness to travel (about 60% of working time, domestic travel mostly)
