<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Position Summary</b></h2>
<p>
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented <b>Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist</b> to support the accounting operations of our dealership group. This role is responsible for processing and maintaining accurate financial records related to incoming and outgoing payments across multiple departments.</p>
<p>
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or dealership office operations.</p>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Accounts Receivable Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul><li>Process and post incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner</li>
<li>Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances</li>
<li>Reconcile accounts and investigate payment discrepancies</li>
<li>Prepare AR reports and maintain accurate financial records</li>
<li>Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments regarding account status</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Accounts Payable Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul><li>Review, verify, and process invoices for payment</li>
<li>Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation</li>
<li>Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries</li>
<li>Prepare payments and ensure timely submission</li>
<li>Reconcile statements and resolve billing discrepancies</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>General Accounting &amp; Administrative Support</b></h3>
<ul><li>Maintain organized filing and recordkeeping systems</li>
<li>Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations</li>
<li>Gather, compile, and prepare financial and administrative reports</li>
<li>Support office operations and collaborate with team members across departments</li>
<li>Help ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and dealership standards</li>

<li>Prior <b>automotive dealership experience</b> is a plus</li>
<li>Experience with <b>Microsoft Office</b>, especially <b>Excel, Outlook, and Word</b>
</li><li>Experience with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, or web-based systems preferred</li>
<li>Comfortable using office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, copiers, telephones, and calculators</li>

 Answer dealership phones, greet and receive prospects and customers

 Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to the salesperson

 Work cooperatively with the sales and other internal teams

 Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
