THE POSITION</div></div><div><p>
As a &quot;Senior Field Engineer you will be part of the Installation engineering Team based in UAE Office and work in direct cooperation with HQ in the Netherlands to deliver various high value solutions for our projects and organization. The Field Engineer collaborates with E&amp;E Engineering, Project Management and Operations to ensure that the installation aspect and work methods can be safely and reliably executed with the installation vessel(s). In this role the Field Engineer ensures that the Offshore Construction Manager and/or discipline engineers and Subject Matter Experts (such as Welding, NDT, Coating, Survey, Diving are consulted, starting with early onshore preparations and engineering and continues until completion of installation.</p><p></p><p><br>
During offshore installation, the Field Engineer supports the OCM with any and all onboard engineering aspects and facilitates communications with Engineering as and when required by the OCM.</p></div></div><div><div><div>

Your responsibilities<br>
In summary, your responsibilities included but not limited to it:<br>
<ul><li>Verify and advise pipeline installation stress strain configuration relative to each pipeline sections.</li><li>Perform basic Engineering calculations or consult/coordinate with Engineering department for same in line with Van Oord engineering standards</li><li>Verify and direct Pipe Tally and manage offshore pipe load-out sequences with Logistics and pipe supply;</li><li>Verify engineering- and work preparations of Task Plans or Lifting Plans;</li><li>Ensure that latest applicable revision of project documentation is available onboard.</li></ul><br>

Job requirements</p><p></p><ul><li><br>
University degree in Mechanical / Civil / Marine Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 3 rotational calendar years of offshore pipeline installation experience which includes pipeline installation including spool pieces and tie-ins with anchored pipelay barges.</li><li>Fully familiar with day-to-day offshore vessel operations in Oil &amp; Gas industry including logistics.</li><li>Fully familiar with vessel mob-demobilization operations, subcontractor management, meetings.</li><li>Proven experience with pipeline shore pulls (open cut, HDD).</li><li>Proven experience with Single Point Mooring buoy installation.</li><li>Preferably experience with cable and umbilical installation</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div>
