 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide general support to the company&lsquo;s legal department
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with researching, drafting, and managing corporate policies
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure company compliance with legal policies, state and federal laws, and regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft and review contracts
 </li>
 <li>
 Gather, organize, and store information relevant to ongoing projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with industry-leading outside counsel
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify potential legal risks to the company
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain the company's legal files including a library of pre-approved form documents, templates, and historical documents; add or revise material as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide support for litigation and regulatory-related matters
 </li>
 <li>
 Learn something new every day, become conversant in dozens of highly technical topics, develop proficiencies
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other related duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum of a J.D. Law Degree; minimum 5 - 10 years of legal experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Licensed (or about to become licensed in 2025) to practice law in the United States
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and ability to work independently
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to identify underlying issues in complex situations
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to juggle multiple priorities, organize time, meet deadlines, and deal with highly confidential information
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to make decisions and justify legal recommendations
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer service oriented and a positive attitude
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' and learn every day
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
