</b></div><p>The Research Area Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to faculty and research area leadership within the College of Connected Computing (CCC). This role serves as a primary point of coordination for day-to-day administrative activities, helping faculty navigate university processes and ensuring the smooth execution of research area operations.<br>

</p><p>Working closely with faculty, staff, and administrative partners across the College, the Coordinator supports meeting and event logistics, travel coordination, visitor support, communications, procurement, and other administrative activities. This position plays an important role in creating an organized and responsive support environment that enables faculty to focus on teaching, research, and service.<br>

</b></div><p>It is an exciting time at Vanderbilt as the University officially welcomed C. Cybele Raver as its new Provost and Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs on July 1, 2021. Under the leadership of Provost Raver, the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Professional Education is leading bold new initiatives and strengthening existing programs. This role reports directly to the Digital Media Manager who reports to the Director of Digital Strategy in OLI.
</p><p>The Digital Media Designer plays a key part in shaping how the Office of Learning Innovation (OLI) looks and communicates across web, print, and screen. Working alongside a team of production specialists, this role produces graphic, web, and motion design assets that support OLI marketing, recruitment, and program communications. The work spans landing pages and program sites, social and campaign collateral, motion graphics, and short-form video.
</p><p>The Digital Media Designer provides design, motion, and production support across OLI&rsquo;s marketing and program communications. They are an integral member of the digital media team and bring a strong visual sensibility, working knowledge of web and brand fundamentals, and the technical skills to take projects from concept through delivery.
</p><p>The Office of the Deputy Provost was established by Provost C. Cybele Raver in 2025 to strengthen Vanderbilt&rsquo;s ability to implement strategic academic initiatives and foster cross-institutional alignment. Led by Deputy Provost Tracey George, the office is charged with advancing enterprise-wide priorities across schools and colleges, leading important special initiatives, and supporting the Provost in executing Vanderbilt&rsquo;s academic vision.
