Vanderman Place a nursing home facility located in Willimantic CT, is looking for a HR Coordinator to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.The following skills are required:<ul><li>Meticulous</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Team player</li><li>Excellent communicator</li><li>Problem solver</li><li>Creativity</li></ul>HR Coordinator Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conducting interviews.</li><li>Background checks, and credential verification.</li><li>Managing onboarding and orientation for new employees.</li><li>Ensuring staff meet state and federal licensing requirements.</li><li>Keeping up with regulatory changes (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, CMS).</li><li>Tracking certifications and renewal deadlines.</li><li>Promoting a positive work culture and employee engagement.</li><li>Managing disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.</li><li>Payroll processing and timekeeping systems.</li><li>Administering employee benefits (health insurance, retirement plans).</li><li>Assisting with leave management (FMLA, sick leave, vacation).</li><li>Coordinating workers compensation and return-to-work programs.</li><li>Conducting employee evaluations and feedback sessions.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>2 years of nursing home HR experience</li><li>HS Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Candidates must be available to work full time hours in the nursing home.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Responsible for completing tasks in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Previous experience in excelforce a plus</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>nursing home HR: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
