</li></ul>Job and Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an outstanding aesthetician, who embodies our operating principles, to join our Vanguard Aesthetics team. The aesthetician performs, explains, and schedules cosmetic procedures, consults, and treatment regimens regarding select treatments available at Vanguard Skin Specialists.
<ul><li>Actively promotes/sells skincare products from clara and services at Vanguard Aesthetics.
</li><li>Performs, explains, and schedules select cosmetic consults and treatments per protocols.
</li><li>Provides appropriate patient education and after-care instructions.
</li><li>Provides recommendations for cosmetic service enhancements and implements approved plans within specified timeframes.
</li><li>Assists with development of advertising and promotional materials.
</li><li>Responsible for all cosmetic discussions regarding all available cosmetic treatment options available.
</li><li>Responsible for aftercare instructions, relaying information between the doctor and the patient and from the patient to the doctor and schedule appropriate follow up and treatments.
</li><li>Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.
</li><li>Aesthetician degree or commensurate experience
</li><li>1-2 years of related experience in a dermatology or plastic surgery medical office is preferred.
</li><li>Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence
</li><li>Excellent verbal and written skills required

</li></ul>Schedule:
This position has the option of full-time or part-time position with business hours Tuesday to Friday, approximately 25-40 hours per week. This position is based in Colorado Springs and includes working from multiple locations such as our Briargate and Northgate offices. 
 
Reviews:
Vanguard Skin Specialists believes in providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development. Your first check in with HR will be approximately 90 days from your date of hire. Written annual reviews take place each fall. For individuals with &lt;6 months of tenure by fall review but &gt;6 months tenure at spring review, then the initial review will take place in the spring review.
The practice promotes from within which provides opportunity for growth and advancement. 
 
Compensation &amp; Benefits:
Compensation is a combination of base pay plus bonus. We do not accept gratuities at Vanguard Aesthetics and clara.
<ul><li>Base pay is $20/hour with eligibility for overtime.
</li><li>Product commission is through team-based profit share with eligibility after 90 days.
</li><li>A service bonus is awarded each quarter and is based on meeting minimum service metrics established after the first 30 days.
</li></ul>The position also comes with paid time off, continuing education stipend, bereavement pay, paid maternity &amp; bonding leave, and employee discounts on products and aesthetic services. 
 
Physical Working Conditions:
<ul><li>Must be able to maintain a fast-paced schedule and work style
</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and move quickly
</li><li>Must be able to adjust exam room chairs and move/lift to 20 lbs.
</li><li>Communicate clearly on the telephone and via email
</li><li>Operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, printer, copier, scanner, or fax
</li><li>Can identify color on the computer and software used
