Position Overview
We are looking for a Critical Facilities Engineer who knows what best-in-class service looks like and can make that a reality. This role is an important member of our facilities team where we manage some of the most efficient and cost-effective data center facilities in the industry.
The specific skillset needed by this team is that of a hands-on industrial HVAC technician or mechanic, or an individual with equivalent experience in critical cooling systems.
The successful candidate for this role will work with a team of other electrical and mechanical-focused engineers performing maintenance and repair for our data center infrastructure. We take our customer requirements for uptime seriously and keep our facilities maintained to a very high standard to insure uninterrupted service for our customers.
If you enjoy working on critical data center systems (UPSs, PDUs, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment and Building Controls), as well as industrial electrical equipment and systems that include power distribution components/wiring, electronic components and lighting systems. Essential Job Functions<ul><li>
Work under limited supervision, both independently and within a team environment</li><li>
Manage multiple one-time and/or ongoing projects</li><li>
Respond to safety and emergency situations and maintain a safe and secure work environment</li><li>
Use discretion and judgment in organizing workflow and adapting as priorities are modified due to a changing environment</li><li>
Frequent contact with employees at all levels of the organization; frequent external contact with vendors</li></ul>
Duties<ul><li>
Operate, perform maintenance and service repairs on critical Data Center systems (UPS, PDU, Diesel Generators, ATS equipment and Building Controls, Chillers, CRAH, ETC)</li><li>
Develop reliability reports to ensure availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained with 100% uptime</li><li>
Coordinate, and oversee all maintenance vendors to ensure personnel safety, protect the Facility&rsquo;s critical equipment, and maintain power to the critical load</li><li>
Create required MOPs (Method of Procedure), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures) to ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance to them</li><li>
Additional duties as assigned by Management</li></ul>
Job Requirements<ul><li>
Minimum 1 year, 3+ years preferred, of &ldquo;hands on&rdquo; experience with the maintenance and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities to include; emergency generators (Generators, Fuel Delivery systems and Parallel Switchgear), electrical distribution (MV/LV switchgear and associated controls), critical and essential PDUs, UPS, switchgear, HVAC, air handling units, computer grade cooling systems, and building monitoring/control systems</li><li>
Demonstrate knowledge in operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting and testing critical electrical distribution systems, HVAC systems and building management/automation equipment</li><li>
Ability to read commercial building blueprints and understand electrical single lines and schematics</li><li>
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures related to mechanical &amp; electrical systems needed to run data centers</li><li>
Technical Writing skills and experience; as well as creating, coordinating, updating and/or modifying MOPs/SOPs/EOP&rsquo;s for critical facilities equipment, to include supporting new systems and researching technical requirements</li><li>
Work experience in the electrical or mechanical field is highly desired. Strong emphasis on technical skills/training, with intent to obtain license within a reasonable time</li><li>
May be required to complete formal training in an area of specialty, such as UPS maintenance</li><li>
Candidates must possess reliable transportation for reporting to work for shifts, or emergencies</li><li>
Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes</li><li>
Potential employees must complete a background check successfully</li></ul>
Please note, we are a 24/7 operation, and in the Ashburn, VA campuses the roles requires the ability to work overnight shifts to start. Our Critical Facilities roles work 10 hour shifts Sun-Wed or Wed-Saturday. We focus on a team effort to ensure the critical site is covered but with tenure one may adjust to other day or mid-shift openings with time. Those working in Swing or Overnight shifts will have a shift differential to hourly pay

Procurement Department
The Procurement team is responsible for the management of delivering data centers from conception through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, Development, and Engineering along the way. Construction also works closely with partner contractors to come up with a vertically integrated design and manages these partners to deliver the projects on schedule and budget. Many times, a role like this at other companies is purely oversight. One thing that distinguishes Vantage is that our technical staff is given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process. When compared to external resources, our internal team can align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with corporate goals. This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results.
Position Overview
This position can be based in our Denver, Colorado or Ashburn, Virginia office.
The Global Chief Procurement Officer&rsquo;s main role is to oversee the procurement processes and deploy enabling tools and procedures to dive consistency across all regions. You will manage a team of regional directors and will be responsible for a total spend portfolio of roughly $5B which is rapidly growing. As the SVP of Global Procurement, you will be accountable for supporting the roll out of tools which may include CLM, TPRM and other technology to accelerates and enable business growth. This role will oversee corporate procurement and be the key POC to enable regional and corporate metrics and increase the agility needed to support business growth. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, superior negotiation abilities, excellent financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills.
Essential Job Functions<ul><li>
Oversee and manage the full procurement process and lifecycle across the global organization.</li><li>
Lead and manage a team of regional procurement directors.</li><li>
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with Vantage&rsquo;s objectives regionally and globally between four spend categories (OFCI, OPEX, Development and Indirect).</li><li>
Monitor changes in industry trends and evolving market opportunities, implementing necessary changes to procurement strategies.</li><li>
Maintain relationships with key suppliers and manage contract negotiations.</li><li>
Ensure efficient and effective purchasing processes and systems are in place for optimal performance while understanding and implementing key technologies to improve efficiencies.</li><li>
Assess risks related to vendors in terms of cost, quality, and delivery commitments.</li><li>
Collaborate with regional leaders and executives to determine short- and long-term procurement needs.</li><li>
Develop and monitor procurement metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and report status to the senior executive team.</li><li>
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to laws, regulations and company policies, promoting ethical practices in all activities.</li><li>
Handle additional duties as assigned by management</li></ul>

Job Requirements<ul><li>
15+ years of experience in Procurement roles, preferably in a leadership role in procurement within the construction developer space.</li><li>
B.S. / B.A. degree in Business (or other related degree programs), MBA or similar post graduate qualification or equivalent experience is highly preferred.</li><li>
Deep understanding of market dynamics and procurement processes.</li><li>
Superior leadership skills, with a track record of leading teams effectively.</li><li>
Proven experience in risk management and change management.</li><li>
Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>
Strong analytical skills and a strategic thinker.</li><li>
Highly proficient in financial analysis and budgeting.</li><li>
Sound knowledge of industry-related procurement practices and policies.</li><li>
Problem-solving mentality, able to effectively troubleshoot issues as they arise.</li><li>
In-depth knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes, organization, technology required</li><li>
Proficiency in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), proficiency in Procure-To-Pay tools, Supplier performance and score carding experience preferred.</li><li>
Travel is expected to be up to 30-40% but may increase over time as the business evolves.</li></ul>

Additional Details<ul><li>
Salary Range: $325,000-$375,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)</li><li>
