Internal Communications Department
The internal communications team partners with internal stakeholders to deliver critical information and manage executive and company-wide communications that align with our organizational goals. This includes organizing company-wide news, distributing high-quality content, promoting employee engagement, and working with teams across the business to enhance communication for employees.
Position Overview
This role is based at our site in Denver, CO. in alignment with our flexible work policy (3 days in office, 2 days flexible).
Vantage is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Manager of Internal Communications to lead and elevate our internal communications strategy for our North America business. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communication initiatives that align with the company&rsquo;s goals, enhance employee engagement, and foster a cohesive and informed workforce. The Manager of Internal Communications will work closely with senior leadership on the North American team, HR, and other departments to ensure clear, consistent, and compelling communication throughout the organization.
Essential Job Functions
Strategic Communication Planning:<ul><li>
Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy for our North American business that aligns with the company&rsquo;s vision, mission, and business objectives.</li><li>
Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and deliver key messages that drive employee engagement, cultural alignment, and organizational change.</li></ul>
Leadership Communication:<ul><li>
Provide strategic communication support to the North America executive team, including message development, and presentation preparation.</li><li>
Ensure that leadership communications are clear, consistent, and effectively delivered across all levels of the organization.</li></ul>
Employee Engagement:<ul><li>
Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance the employee experience, foster a positive company culture, and support the organization&rsquo;s values.</li><li>
Develop initiatives to gather employee feedback and ensure two-way communication between leadership and staff.</li></ul>
Content Development and Management:<ul><li>
Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality internal communications content, including newsletters, intranet updates, emails, videos, and other multimedia.</li><li>
Ensure that all internal communications are timely, relevant, and tailored to the needs of different employee groups.</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Collaboration:<ul><li>
Collaborate with Strategy &amp; Transformation, Operations, Marketing, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of internal communication efforts across the organization.</li><li>
Support cross-functional teams in developing communication strategies for specific projects or initiatives.</li></ul>
Change Management Communication:<ul><li>
Lead communication efforts related to organizational change, ensuring that employees are informed, engaged, and supported through transitions.
</li></ul>Measurement and Reporting:<ul><li>
Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and continuously improve strategies based on feedback and data.</li><li>
Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the impact of internal communication initiatives.</li></ul>
Crisis Communication:<ul><li>
Collaborate with the crisis management team to deliver timely, accurate communication that mitigates risk and maintains trust.</li></ul>
Additional Duties:<ul><li>
Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.</li></ul>
Job Requirements
Education:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is required.</li></ul>
Experience:<ul><li>
Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal communication, corporate communication, or a related field.</li><li>
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful internal communication strategies in a complex or matrixed organization.</li></ul>
Skills:<ul><li>
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences.</li><li>
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Proficiency in communication tools and platforms, including intranet systems, email marketing software, and Microsoft Office, with particular focus on MS SharePoint and PowerPoint.</li><li>
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management abilities.</li><li>
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>
Collaborative and inclusive approach to leadership and communication.</li><li>
Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics.</li><li>
Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves.</li></ul>

Additional Details<ul><li>
Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 Base + Bonus</li><li>
This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&amp;D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.</li></ul><ul><li>
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.</li></ul>
