</b></div><div>Our client is seeking multiple experienced Schedulers with strong skills in Primavera P6 and project controls to support cost estimating, scheduling, and project performance management for pulp and paper projects. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or process plant environments, with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, develop detailed schedules, and implement project control systems to ensure project success from concept through completion.
</div><div></div><div><div><b>Responsibilities:
</b></div><div><p><b>Project Controls &amp; Scheduling:
</b></p><ul><li>Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, integrating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
</li><li>Implement and manage project controls including schedule management, cost control, and performance tracking.
</li><li>Perform critical path and what-if analyses to identify schedule risks and develop mitigation plans.
</li><li>Coordinate schedule data and progress reporting with project teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
</li><li>Monitor and forecast budgets, track actuals, and report on variances against the plan.
</li><li>Communicate performance against monthly work plan projections and recommend recovery actions when required.
</li><li>Track and report project performance and progress to management and clients.
</li></ul><p><b>Cost Estimating &amp; Engineering Support:
</b></p><ul><li>Prepare and maintain detailed cost estimates throughout all project phases, from concept through construction.
</li><li>Develop bids, review submittals, and process change orders in coordination with project management.
</li><li>Read and interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work, bid forms, and general conditions.
</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized records of all estimating and scheduling activities.
</li><li>Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure cost and schedule consistency.
</li></ul><p><b>Collaboration &amp; Communication:
</b></p><ul><li>Coordinate information flow and scheduling updates with project team members to ensure timely completion of estimates and reports.
</li><li>Participate in regular project review meetings, providing expert insights on schedule and cost performance.
</li><li>Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and strong teamwork skills.
</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively addressing concerns and exceeding expectations.
</li></ul></div><div><div><div><b>Qualifications:
</b></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
</li><li>5+ years of experience in cost estimating, scheduling, and project controls&mdash;preferably within the pulp and paper or industrial/process plant industries.
</li><li>Proficiency in Primavera P6 required.
</li><li>Experience with cost estimating software.
</li><li>Strong understanding of EPC project phases and construction sequencing.
</li><li>Knowledge of earned value management (EVM) principles and forecasting techniques.
</li><li>Familiarity with quality assurance programs and documentation control.
</li><li>Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional project team environment.
</li></ul></div><div><div><b>Preferred Skills:
</b></div></div></div></div></div><ul><li>Knowledge of cost control and earned value methodologies.
</li><li>Familiarity with construction sequencing and field operations.
</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and other project reporting tools.
</li><li>Previous experience working in industrial facilities, such as, pulp and paper facilities.
</li><li>Results-driven and goal-oriented.
</li><li>Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
</li><li>High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
