We have a new need for a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room at the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA
 
Core Duties: 
<ul>
<li>Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the facility.</li>
<li>Perform physical exam and health histories.</li>
<li>Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.</li>
<li>Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.</li>
<li>Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.</li>
<li>Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.</li>
<li>Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.</li>
<li>Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.</li>
<li>Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.</li>
<li>Perform nursing services identified in the TO.</li>
<li>Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.</li>
</ul>
Work Schedule: 
Services shall be performed Sunday - Saturday, for 13 hours to include a one hour meal break:
 Days: between 6am and 6:30pm
 Evenings: between 10am and 10:30pm
 Nights: between 6pm and 6:30am
 
Requirements: 
Minimum Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Education: Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing, from an accredited agency such as the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).</li>
<li>Experience: Possess a minimum of one year experience within the last two years as an Emergency Room RN.</li>
<li>Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license from any state.</li>
<li>Life Support Certification: Maintain current AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS and PALS Certifications. (ACLS and PALS can be obtain within 6 months of employment).</li>
<li>Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.</li>

We are seeking a full time Primary Care Physician at Naval Health Clinic Lemoore, CA...
 This position is part of Psychological Health under a Medical Home initiative for a Primary Care delivery program. The program seeks to implement a new model of patient and family-centered health care delivery for primary care that is team-based, comprehensive, and designed to fully meet the complete primary care health and wellness needs of patients.
 
CORE Duties: 
<ul>
<li>Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the facility.</li>
<li>Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.</li>
<li>Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.</li>
<li>Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.</li>
<li>Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.</li>
<li>Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols.</li>
</ul>
Specific Duties: The type of work may include, but is not limited to, the following:
 <ul>
<li>Perform primary care exams for the neonatal to geriatric populations.</li>
<li>Perform primary care and administrative exams including but not limited to Physical Readiness Test (PRT) waivers, Preventive Health Assessments (PHA), Sea Duty / Operational Screening exams, School and Sports physicals, Pap, and well-woman exams.</li>
<li>Initiate recommendations for Sick-in-Quarters (SIQ) and duty modifications for active-duty personnel in accordance with facility instructions.</li>
<li>Diagnosis and treatment of urgent and non-urgent disease and injury to all body organs and systems of patients in the neonatal to geriatric populations.</li>
<li>Prescribe medications as indicated.</li>
</ul>
Work Schedule: 
Monday - Friday, 8.5 hours between 7:30am and 6pm
 No Weekends, No Holidays
 No Call, No Call-Back
 
Requirements: 
Minimum Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Education: Possesses a Doctor of Medicine degree or a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathy.</li>
<li>Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a Family Practice setting, within the past 5 years</li>
<li>Licensure: Current, unrestricted medical license from any state</li>
<li>Board Certification: Board eligibility is required. Board certification if preferred. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Family Practice, the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.</li>
<li>Life Support Certification: Possess current BLS, ACLS &PALS certifications</li>
<li>Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.</li>
</ul>
