About this Opportunity:
The Production Manager is responsible for managing employee assignments, machine usage, and the production process. The production manager ensures employees meet the productivity and efficiency standards of the organization.
The Production Manager is responsible for implementing production schedules and plans and directing production activities. Also accountable for results related to costs, methods, on-time production, critical KPIs and personnel.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of departmental supervisors.</li><li>
Leads and motivates subordinates to fulfill schedules, improve processes, control costs, and deliver quality work.</li><li>
Reviews usage and makes recommendation regarding costs, materials, and efficiencies of manufacturing production.</li><li>
Reviews logs, datasheets, and reports to assess production.</li><li>
Identifies process abnormalities or inefficiencies then addresses those problems by determining and implementing appropriate changes.</li><li>
Submits periodic production reports to the Plant Manager or other appropriate staff.</li><li>
Ensures employee compliance with plant safety, environmental, and operational standards and regulations.</li><li>
Along with other departments, implements new production processes and required equipment.</li><li>
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.</li><li>
Train, coach and supervise employees to attain optimum performance considering every employee.</li><li>
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Education and Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business management, mechanical engineering, or a related field.</li><li>
Experience with ERP/MRP Systems.</li><li>
Suitable time management and organizational skills, and able to work independently.</li><li>
Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving production goals.</li><li>
At least five years of related experience required, preferably in a manufacturing/sheet metal environment.</li><li>
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.</li><li>
Lean Six Sigma training and certification is a plus.</li></ul>
Knowledge / Skills<ul><li>
Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Effective managerial and supervisory skills.</li><li>
Effective analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Extensive experience managing high-mix, high-volume sheet-metal and electro-mechanical assembly operations in an automated, flow-based manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.</li><li>
Ability to frequently walk through the manufacturing facility, actively engaging with all employees.</li><li>

About this Opportunity:
The Senior HR Generalist serves as a strategic and hands-on human resources partner supporting manufacturing operations with a primary focus on full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition. This role is responsible for attracting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining skilled manufacturing, technical, and professional talent while also supporting employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and other HR initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting expertise with broad HR generalist experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
Responsibilities: 
Talent Acquisition &amp; Recruiting (50&ndash;60%)<ul><li>
Lead full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing associates, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, quality, and management positions.</li><li>
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.</li><li>
Create and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.</li><li>
Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking events, trade schools, and community partnerships.</li><li>
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring panels, and manage candidate communications.</li><li>
Oversee pre-employment processes, including background checks, reference checks, and offer administration.</li><li>
Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.</li><li>
Participate in career fairs, workforce development programs, and community outreach initiatives.</li><li>
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.</li></ul>
Human Resources Generalist Functions (40&ndash;50%)<ul><li>
Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.</li><li>
Support employee relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and corrective action processes.</li><li>
Assist managers with performance management and employee development.</li><li>
Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.</li><li>
Maintain HRIS records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>
Support benefits administration and employee communications.</li><li>
Assist with compensation reviews, salary benchmarking, and workforce planning.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.</li><li>
Support safety, engagement, retention, and culture initiatives supporting the EH&amp;S team.</li><li>
Participate in audits, reporting, and HR process improvement projects.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.</li><li>
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting.</li><li>
Experience recruiting for manufacturing, industrial, production, engineering, maintenance, or skilled trades positions.</li><li>
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices specifically in CA.</li><li>
Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills.</li><li>
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.</li><li>
Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
HR certification such as Society for Human Resource Management-CP/SHRM-SCP or HR Certification Institute PHR/SPHR.</li><li>
Experience with workforce planning and talent management initiatives.</li><li>
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).</li></ul></div>
