Job Opening: Merchandiser &ndash; Varoin Marwah (Designer Atelier)Location: Mumbai Role Type: Full-time Experience: 2&ndash;5 years in fashion merchandising, preferably in designer labels or luxury ateliersAbout the RoleVaroin Marwah is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to manage end-to-end merchandising operations for our designer atelier. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth workflow across production, stock management, vendor coordination, and floor operations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Inventory Management:</li><li>Monitor and maintain stock levels for fabrics, trims, accessories, and finished garments</li><li>Perform routine stock audits and update inventory systems</li><li>Track material consumption and manage reorder levels</li><li>Production &amp; Time Sheet Management:</li><li>Maintain daily time sheets for tailors, masters, and supporting staff</li><li>Track productivity, assign tasks, and ensure timelines are met</li><li>Coordinate with the design and production teams for smooth workflow</li><li>Floor Management:</li><li>Ensure the production floor is organized, efficient, and compliant with workflow processes</li><li>Support fittings, sample movement, and production scheduling</li><li>Reporting &amp; Documentation:</li><li>Prepare daily/weekly stock, cost, and production reports</li><li>Track costs for materials, labor, and outsourced work</li><li>Maintain clear documentation for all incoming/outgoing materials</li><li>Vendor Management &amp; Sourcing:</li><li>Source fabrics, trims, packaging, and production essentials from trusted vendors</li><li>Negotiate pricing, timelines, and quality standards</li><li>Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries</li><li>General Merchandising Responsibilities:</li><li>Oversee quality control for in-house and outsourced pieces</li><li>Support in collection planning and sample tracking</li><li>Assist in ensuring that every garment meets brand standards</li></ul>Desired Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>2&ndash;5 years experience as a merchandiser in a fashion brand or designer workshop preferably in menswear.</li><li>Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction</li><li>Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills</li><li>Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting</li><li>Ability to multitask and manage fast-paced atelier operations</li><li>Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities</li></ul>How to ApplyInterested candidates can email their resume to kamaljit.gill4@gmail.comwith the subject line: &ldquo;Application &ndash; Merchandiser &ndash; Varoin Marwah&rdquo;Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
