Job Summary:The Purchase Assistant will support the Purchase Department in sourcing, ordering, and tracking raw materials, trims, and accessories required for T-shirt and garment production. This role ensures timely availability of materials with proper quality and best pricing to meet production deadlines.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and issue purchase orders (PO) for fabric, accessories, trims, packing materials, etc.</li><li>Collect quotations and compare prices from multiple suppliers.</li><li>Maintain vendor database and assist in developing new supplier contacts.</li><li>Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, delivery schedules, and dispatch details.</li><li>Coordinate with the stores, production, and accounts teams for material requirements and GRN updates.</li><li>Check and verify invoices, delivery notes, and other documents before forwarding to accounts.</li><li>Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining minimum inventory requirements.</li><li>Maintain records of purchase orders, quotations, and supplier performance.</li><li>Assist in local market purchases for urgent requirements.</li><li>Ensure quality and specifications match the approved samples before acceptance.</li></ul>Job Type: PermanentPay: &#8377;12,000.00 - &#8377;18,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>total work: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
