 Position Summary
 
 
 
 VB Spine is seeking one or more talented junior to mid-level
 
 Legal Counsel
 
 to join its expanding legal department. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished attorneys and contribute meaningfully to a wide range of commercial and corporate matters.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll be part of a small, high-performing legal team in a hybrid role based in
 
 New York City,
 
 combining in-person collaboration and mentorship with flexibility and autonomy with room to take on increasing responsibility as the company grows.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, service, distribution, and confidentiality contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide day-to-day legal support across general corporate matters, governance, compliance, and contract management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams including sales, operations, marketing, and finance to align legal risk with business goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help improve legal workflows, templates, and internal processes as the legal function continues to scale.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
 </li>
 <li>
 2&ndash;6 years of legal experience, ideally with at least 1&ndash;2 years at a nationally recognized law firm.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience in commercial contracts and general corporate legal matters.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 A proactive, collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from and contribute to a strong legal team.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Compensation And Benefits

 Base salary range of $180,000 to $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comprehensive benefits package.
