THE JOB

As an Emergency Veterinarian, you're more than just passionate about helping people and their pets; you thrive on it, especially when they need you most. WHAT YOU'LL DO

<li>Answer medical questions over the phone</li>
<li>See patients right away as part of the VEG Triage and VEG Spikes, our unique, customer-centered way of doing things&mdash;like ensuring people see a doctor right away and allowing families to stay with their pets</li>
<li>Gather the signalment, presenting complaint, vitals, and physical exam</li>
<li>Conduct physical examinations of animals, along with other required investigatory measures such as ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies</li>
<li>Complete a diagnosis of each pet's condition to create a diagnostic and therapeutic plan</li>
<li>Communicate diagnosis and treatment options directly with customers</li>
<li>Prepare estimates and present them to customers</li>
<li>Create and review medical records to ensure accuracy</li>
<li>Demonstrate the value of tests and treatments performed by speaking with the customer and addressing their concerns</li>
<li>Perform minor and major emergency surgeries</li>
<li>Perform endoscopic procedures</li>
<li>Educate customers on after care and preventative measures where appropriate</li></ul> 


WHAT YOU NEED

<li>A DVM or equivalent degree</li>
<li>Live and breathe emergency medicine, including emergency surgery (the soft tissue kind!) and endoscopy</li>
<li>Thrive in team-oriented environments (think hospital retreats, team dinners, happy hours, and more)</li>
<li>Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor as well as ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and able to support up to 40 kg with assistance</li>

THE JOB

As a Nursing Trainer, you have one of the most meaningful jobs at VEG: helping others grow. You'll lead with curiosity, coach with compassion, and obsess over development. <li>Split your time between on-the-floor mentoring and strategic development</li>
<li>Provide tailored, hands-on training for all learning styles and skill levels with patience and understanding</li>
<li>Organize peer training opportunities and build a strong mentoring culture</li>
<li>Collaborate with nursing managers and professional networks to broaden impact</li>
<li>Develop and refine training content (i.e. presentations, videos, simulations, and assessments)</li>

<li>Continually evaluate and improve leveling programs for assistants and technicians</li></ul> 


WHAT YOU NEED

<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program strongly preferred</li>
<li>Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located; VTS in ECC, internal medicine, or anesthesia/analgesia a plus and will lead to extra considerations in compensation</li>
<li>High level of knowledge and skill in emergency medicine</li>
<li>Previous training experience preferred</li>
<li>A relentless passion for teaching and uplifting others</li>

THE JOB

We're looking for someone who brings technical know-how, a service-first mindset, and the flexibility to support a fast-growing, 24/7 hospital network. In this role, you'll be on the frontlines of support, making sure our hospitals have the reliable hardware, software, and network functionality they need to run smoothly&mdash;while also helping set new hospitals up for success. WHAT YOU'LL DO

<li>Partner with IT teams, senior leadership, and hospital and regional leaders to understand hospital needs, resolve escalations, and keep operations running smoothly.</li>
<li>Support departmental and business initiatives by aligning stakeholders, prioritizing work, and helping ensure strong execution across your region.</li>
<li>Represent IT with professionalism, care, and a service-first mindset when supporting VEGgies, customers, and hospital teams.</li>
<li>Help protect VEG systems by coordinating and implementing operational measures that support secure, reliable data, software, hardware, and infrastructure.</li>
<li>Work with local teams to review project plans, finalize technology specifications, and support infrastructure projects, hospital upgrades, and new hospital openings.</li>
<li>Recommend and implement streamlined hospital technology, best practices, and continuous IT improvements, while helping hire Field Service resources as needed to maintain exceptional support.</li></ul> 


WHAT YOU NEED
<ul>
<li>1&ndash;2 years of technical help desk or IT support experience, with the ability to apply general technology processes, tools, and best practices in a hospital environment.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of Apple products and macOS, with network experience, construction-related industry experience, or hospital buildout support as a plus.</li>
<li>Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner confidently with VEGgies, IT teams, hospital leaders, vendors, and other partners inside and outside the organization.</li>
<li>Strong organization and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and stay flexible when timelines change.</li>
<li>A self-starter mindset: dependable, eager to learn new technology quickly, comfortable working independently, and collaborative in a team environment.</li>
<li>Ability to mentor or coach future team members as needed, while also being able to physically move, handle, and lift computer equipment up to 50 pounds.</li></ul>

THE JOB

As a Scribe, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing the patient care experience by building accurate, detailed medical records, setting the foundation for exceptional care.
