Compensation:$80,000 - $100,000 annuallyThe pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited PTO for exempt level roles. 
Role Summary:As the site leader, the Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in the overall success of the warehouse facility by leading employee activity to achieve performance goals. You will be responsible for overseeing facility sort and driver launch operations while coaching, mentoring, and directing supervisors and associates to hit key KPIs and OKRs. You will also be responsible for managing the operation&rsquo;s P&amp;L, leading logistics oversight, and focusing on process improvement. Additionally, you will ensure safety in the warehouse, including being a champion of OSHA compliance and appropriate reporting. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Build a high-performing team of supervisors and associates to deliver an advanced level of quality, speed, and service in all daily activities</li><li>
Coach, train, and guide supervisors and associates for forwarding career progression</li><li>
Use data and collaborate with the direct reports to identify and execute process improvements for the operation</li><li>
Generate programs and practices that deliver a high level of customer satisfaction, on-time delivery success, and safety</li><li>
Create, foster, and maintain strategic relationships within the Market, Region, and Central Operations teams</li><li>
Partner with our Client Operations team to exceed client expectations as their last-mile delivery partner</li><li>
Champion OSHA compliance and track incidents within markets</li><li>
Lead through the lens of Veho's Values</li><li>
Work cross-functionally to hire, retain, coach, and develop employees within the operation</li><li>
Lead efforts to significantly impact efficiencies and scalability in WH operations (i.e. automated sortation implementation) as well as managing increased complexity at the market level (hub to spoke, master sort facilities, high volume facilities)</li></ul> 

What you Bring:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 3-5 years experience in warehouse operations management</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years leading and managing a team of direct and indirect reports</li><li>
3+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory, or logistics</li><li>
Flexibility, innovation, and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment</li><li>
Ability to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organization</li><li>
Excellent written/oral communication skills</li>
Intermediate analytical skills<li>-experience with Excel/Google Sheets</li><li>
Is physically able to stand for the duration of the shift, move boxes up and down, including bending and frequently lifting (up to 50 lbs required)</li><li>
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings</li></ul>

Wednesday - Sunday - 10:30PM - 7:00AM (Overnight)</li><li>

About The Role:As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities. You will be at the forefront of daily interactions with cross-functional teams, orchestrating efforts to maintain safety standards while achieving operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a shared shift to guarantee successful launches and sorts, in collaboration with both the Veho team and our valued driver partners. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands quick thinking and physical agility, embracing the challenge of physically tasking work with enthusiasm and resilience.</li><li>
Quickly navigate technology platforms to manage operational changes, re-routes, and other logistical challenges with ease and efficiency.</li><li>
Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations, prioritizing safety, and driving success.</li><li>
Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck with skill and precision, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials as needed.</li><li>
Execute with a focus on customer service, providing high levels of support and assistance to our crowd-sourced driver partners and internal teams.</li><li>
Works well in a fast-paced environment that is, at times, physically tasking</li><li>
Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively lead a shift.</li><li>
Stand for extended periods, move boxes up and down, bend, and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, ensuring physical readiness for the demands of the role.</li></ul> 

Qualifications:<ul><li>
At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.</li><li>
Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.</li><li>
Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.</li><li>
Proficiency in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.</li><li>
Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.</li><li>
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check</li><li>
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.</li></ul>
