About The Role:</div><div>
We have an extraordinary opportunity for someone to join our team in the Austin office as a Litigation Attorney. This role will handle all phases of the dispute resolution process, from legal research and drafting to trial advocacy and client counseling. The Litigation Attorney will develop legal strategies, represent clients in court and negotiations, and manage a diverse caseload. This opportunity is a great match for attorneys with at least 5 years of experience in litigation and general disputes, but ideally, the candidate will have 6 or more years of experience.</div><div></div><div><br>
Key responsibilities will include:</div><ul><li>
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents</li><li>
Prepare for and participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.</li><li>
Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on litigation and risk management issues</li><li>
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop creative and effective legal strategies</li><li>
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings</li><li>
Help manage a robust caseload of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, contract disputes, employment disputes, and regulatory matters</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school</li><li>
Admission to the bar in Texas</li><li>
Approximately 5-6+ years of experience practicing litigation/dispute resolution law, preferably in a law firm setting</li><li>
Demonstrated bankruptcy experience preferred</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>
Advanced legal research and writing skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, hands-on team in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for clients</li></ul><div></div><div><br>

About The Role:</b></div><div>
We have an extraordinary opportunity for a legal assistant to join our team in Austin. This is a varied role for someone who likes to keep busy and will enjoy supporting our growing office. The role will focus on supporting our Litigation and Bankruptcy practice.</div><div></div><div><br>
Key responsibilities will include:</div><br>

Filing and Court Procedures: Prepare and file court documents for bankruptcy proceedings and litigation cases, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, bankruptcy petitions, and statements of financial affairs. Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions.</li><li>
Case Preparation and Support: Assist attorneys in preparing for litigation and bankruptcy hearings and trials, including organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witness schedules.</li><li>
Client and Court Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding case updates, document requests, and procedural matters. Maintain professional and confidential interactions.</li><li>
Administrative Support: Assist with general office tasks, including managing calendars and deadlines, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with other departments as needed.</li><li>
Document Drafting and Management: Draft, format, and manage bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, basic pleadings, and other legal documents related to bankruptcy cases and litigation. Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards and court rules. Organize and maintain electronic filing systems, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily retrievable.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
Basic Qualifications:</div><br>

Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast paced and changing work environment</li><li>
Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality</li><li>
Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign</li><li>
Fluency in web based applications and internet research</li><li>
