</div><div>We are seeking a talented Solutions Architect specializes in defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision to help ensure the system or solution under development is fit for its intended purpose. This position is one that can make measurable impacts to the business using new technologies and maturing technologies currently in place to drive Velera to do better for our clients 
</div><div>Day in the Life
</div><div><ul><li>Utilizing one&rsquo;s technology expertise and experience, the Solutions Architect will c reate detailed solution designs that encompass all aspects and complexities of the solution, including software, hardware, infrastructure, data, and security considerations
</li><li>Gain deep understanding of the dynamic internal technology stack and be able to design solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
</li><li>Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to understand overall strategy of the product and technical solution needs , then provide technical guidance to Agile teams while ensuring that enterprise standards are followed.
</li><li>Technology Selection: Stay apprised of new technologies in the market to e valuate and select the appropriate technologies , platforms, and tools that best meet the needs of the solution and provide innovation to the organization while considering factors such as scalability, performance, and cost.
</li><li>Architectural standards, patterns and artifacts: Define standards/patterns that provide a template to be followed and diagrams/artifacts that detail the design of solutions.
</li><li>Scalability and Performance: Strategize on how the solution will scale to meet growing demands and that performance remains at an acceptable level under various conditions. Scrutinize project constraints to analyze alternatives, mitigate risks, and conduct process re-engineering as necessary
</li><li>Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards to protect sensitive data and maintain the integrity of the solution.
</li><li>Integration: Strategize, design and plan for integration with existing systems and third-party services, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
</li><li>Cost Management: Optimize the solution to be cost-effective by managing cloud resources efficiently and reducing unnecessary expenditures.
</li><li>Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor the solution's performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize it over time.
</li><li>Vendor and Tool Evaluation: Evaluate third-party solutions, products, and vendors for their compatibility with the architecture.
</li><li>Gathers internal company insights through data queries, visualizations and reporting to inform Product stakeholders on necessary product functionality 
</li></ul></div><div>Qualifications:
</div><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent training and work experience.
</li><li>Minimum of 8-10 years overall experience in a professional and technical capacity including various architecture disciplines, IT, business operations and project estimation.
</li><li>Advanced experience with programming and/or scripting languages, application testing strategies, analysis and design.
</li><li>Experience designing in an Azure cloud environment with AWS being a plus
</li><li>Prior experience with Azure services
</li><li>Advanced knowledge of API technologies and Integration S olutions
</li><li>Prior experience with Agile/Scrum framework
</li><li>2+ years direct experience working with cloud and hybrid-cloud based technology solutions
</li><li>TOGAF training or certification is a plus

Solution Architect (Software Dev/Azure) - REMOTE

The Opportunity
 
The Senior IT Internal Auditor assists in performing and managing internal audit assignments throughout the company, working independently or under the supervision of Audit Management. The incumbent will work as part of an audit team to conduct audits, evaluate risks, test controls, and review processes related to financial data and systems, internal controls, department procedures, and compliance with regulatory rules and company policies. The incumbent will assist with tracking of open audit findings and facilitate response generation, information gathering, testing evidence, and escalation of prior findings with the Audit Management. There will be exposure to senior management throughout the organization. Senior IT auditors will assist and support less experienced staff and may work closely with management and staff from third party organizations providing internal audit support.
Day In The Life
<ul><li>Perform internal risk assessments under the direction of Internal Audit Management.
</li><li>Planning internal audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations; identifying risk areas; preparing audit scope and objectives.
</li><li>Interpreting regulations as they pertain to information systems, platforms, and IT operating processes, practices and procedures.
</li><li>Evaluating information technology (IT) infrastructure, data flows/processes, and operating procedures in accordance with established standards oIdentification of key controls, control design, and/or control deficiencies through the development of risks and controls matrix, including the reliability and effectiveness of internal information systems controls.
</li><li>Creating process documentation, including process narratives and flow charts, to assist with audit planning and execution.
</li><li>Creating audit program and testing procedures at the entity, process, transaction or application levels, including assessing controls and potential risks.
</li><li>Assessing risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluating manual and automated processes; identifying process weaknesses and inefficiencies and technical issues.
</li><li>Maintaining open communication with management - communicates audit progress and findings by providing information in status meetings; highlighting unresolved issues; reviewing working papers; preparing final audit reports.
</li><li>Partnering with internal clients to define action plans for deficiencies identified.
</li><li>Preparing and presenting reports that reflect audit&rsquo;s results and document process.
</li><li>Assisting Audit Management and co-sourced internal audit partner to coordinate and schedule audit meetings.
</li><li>Monitor management&rsquo;s completion of the actions agreed upon in the remediation process; escalate, support, and provide support when needed or requested by Audit Management.
</li><li>Prepare and/or review Audit reports and mange revisions.
</li><li>Assist business owners in defining gaps or process deficiencies and associated action plans for remediation.
</li><li>Determine and recommend improvements during implementation of IT system changes or upgrades.
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>Qualifications :
<ul><li>Five (5) years related work experience in IT auditing (public accounting or internal audit experience) required.
</li><li>Two (2) years&rsquo; experience working in another functional area such as accounting, risk management, IT, or other business or operational position preferred.
</li><li>Experience with payment systems and financial services related to the credit/debit card industry preferred.
</li></ul>Education:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology and/or business or related field required.
</li><li>Currently holds, or actively pursuing, an audit professional certification, such as CIA, CISSP, or CISA or equivalent audit credentials.
</li><li>Required to hold an audit certification(s) as condition of continued employment.

</div>The Business Systems Analyst III will make recommendations on tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison between technology and business side stakeholders with the goal of helping deliver new and enhanced processes, products, and services on time and within budget.
Day in the Life:
<ul><li>Create, refine, and maintain the User Stories/Requirements for a project, map the user stories to features, develop epics and features, define the acceptance criteria, and partner with the Product Owner for user story traceability and refinement
</li><li>Maintain, manage, and refine a prioritized backlog in partnership with the Product Owner
</li><li>Adhere to Agile principles and philosophies (Scrum or Kanban, as applicable) in fulfillment of the role.
</li><li>Mentor and guide other team members on Agile best practices and analysis techniques &amp; tools.
</li><li>Foundational understanding of API technologies and data flows to translate technical jargon between the Product Owner, QA analysts, developers and the stakeholders of the business so that all partners are working towards a common goal.
</li><li>Utilizes advanced critical/analytical thinking skills to identify process gaps and potential project risks, then uses problem solving skills to brainstorm solutions with the team.
</li><li>Document business processes, functional specifications, non-functional specifications, and technical specifications.
</li><li>Perform detailed data mapping and/or data modeling, as well as create diagrams.
</li><li>Ensure compliance with all the audit requirements of the company.
</li><li>Leads research and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support the product owner and stakeholders in the decision-making process..
</li><li>Create complex SQL queries and help map the data elements as needed, collaborate with multiple stakeholders to elicit requirements and lead story estimation for data or application development projects.
</li><li>Develop expertise in systems&rsquo; gap and impact analysis to eliminate product inefficiencies.
</li><li>Remain up-to-date on current technology trends, software development life cycle methodologies and best practices.
</li><li>Lead department initiatives with limited supervision.
</li><li>Provide mentoring and training to junior team members.
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
</li><li>Excellent understanding of the Agile/Lean methodologies. Additional certifications in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps strongly preferred.
</li><li>5+ years&rsquo; writing complex SQL querying.
</li><li>5-8 years of business analysis experience required. Experience in the financial and card payment industry required.
</li><li>Experience working on BI reporting projects is a plus
</li><li>1+ years&rsquo; experience in modeling / mapping business processes.
</li><li>1+ years&rsquo; experience planning, facilitate UAT for projects and enhancements.
</li><li>Experience with Azure Development Ops (ADO) or JIRA is a plus.
</li><li>General knowledge of the following: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, API&rsquo;s and .NET and/or MySQL, Java, and web based applications. (not a hands on coder)
</li><li>Practical knowledge of debit/credit card processing, financial systems, mobile solutions, high-availability systems, and data safe-keeping practices.
