Hard work and devotion allow us to have consistent success which provides job security to our growing team.<ul><li>Typical Work Hours: M-Th 4am to 2pm and OT as needed on Fridays</li></ul>VACATION &amp; HOLIDAY HOURS COUNT AS HOURS WORKED TOWARD OVERTIMEDOUBLE TIME PAID FOR ANY OVERTIME HOURS WORKED BEYOND 8 HOURS IN A WORKWEEKPay is Based on experience.Summary: The Welder is responsible for reading complex blueprints and shop drawings to weld component parts or complete fabrications using the appropriate equipment and technique to produce a tight tolerance, high quality product.Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following: Duties may be modified or additional duties assigned.<ul><li>Manage complete fabrication projects which include print reading, setup, dimensioning, fabricating, welding, analyzing work orders and completed assemblies.</li><li>Read and follow the instructions of fabrication blue prints used to construct components and tight tolerance weldments.</li><li>Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with print specifications.</li><li>Perform cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks on machines and work area daily.</li><li>Assist other welders as needed.</li><li>Collaborate and communicate with the Lead Welder and Shift Supervisor.</li><li>Must maintain a positive can-do attitude, as well as, work in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>All other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>1-year Technical School diploma strongly preferred</li><li>5-7 years of experience MIG/TIG welding and fabricating required</li><li>Ability to see a full fabrication project through from start to finish</li><li>Proficiency interpreting blueprints and shop math</li><li>Proficiency using precision measuring tools</li><li>Self-starter</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills</li></ul>Physical Demands: <ul><li>Medium work that includes moving and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers</li><li>Operation of machinery and power tools</li><li>Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for the duration of shift</li></ul>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
