Job Type: Full-time, PermanentProject Location(s): Lahore, PakistanEducation: BSc./MSc. in Electrical EngineeringJob Responsibilities<ul><li>Design Electrical power generation and distribution system including of utility/grid (33/132/220kV) system, HV/ MV/LV Switchgear/MCC, along with all applicable protections.</li><li>Developing various detail-engineering documents/drawings, system studies on ETAP such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient studies &amp; relay coordination studies.</li><li>Develop Load List, single line diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, electrical equipment detail specifications, data sheets, tender requisitions, power, lighting &amp; earthing, hazardous area classification layouts, datasheets, cable schedules &amp; typical details etc.</li><li>Design of uninterrupted power supply (UPS) as per electrical &amp; instrument requirement to cater the plant essential loads.</li><li>Perform lighting calculations/illumination study for indoor and outdoor lighting system and determine illumination level on DIALux and Calculux software.</li><li>Preparation of Specifications &amp; data sheets of engine/turbine driven generators, transformer, substation equipment, Switchgear/MCC, UPS, cables, grounding &amp; lightning system etc.</li><li>Assist in preparation of estimates for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements and man-hour estimates.</li><li>Deliver electrical power engineering services that meet client requirement. All the works performed on applicable standards and company statutory rules &amp; regulations .i.e. IEC, API, NFPA, IEEE.</li><li>Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.</li><li>Fully familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues.</li><li>Identify changes to scope and promptly raise change notifications, including providing any necessary supporting documentation and estimates. Provide similar support for Variation Orders.</li><li>Raise technical queries to obtain missing information, clarify work scope, and to maintain preferred procedures, specifications, standards, practices and operational requirements.</li><li>Participate in finalizing deliverables lists and deliverables, ensuring compliance with specifications and functional integrity.</li><li>Attend project review meetings, vendor meetings, engineering meetings and site surveys, as required.</li><li>Assist procurement personnel in procuring Discipline equipment, materials and services; ensuring that work produced complies with Customer/Client objectives and procedures. Procurement assistance includes preparing requisitions, evaluate technical quotations &amp; preparing queries, compiling bid tabulations and recommendations, preparing purchase requisitions, and coordinating with Procurement to expedite vendor documents.</li><li>Development of Inspection Plan, Management Strategy, Task list &amp; recommendations.</li><li>Participate in FAT &amp; inspection and preparation &amp; resolution of punch lists on arrival of skid / material.</li><li>Review Pre-commissioning and commissioning index and provide technical assistance on site during pre-commissioning and start-up as required.</li><li>Preparation and submission of reports containing results of site verification, gap assessment, audit results, discussions, recommendations and action plan.</li></ul>As our ideal candidate, you should have:<ul><li>BSc./MSc. in Electrical Engineering.</li><li>05 to 10 Years&rsquo; Experience of FEED &amp; Detail Engineering in Oil and Gas Sector.</li><li>Expertise in ETAP Software, DIALux, Calculux</li><li>Experience working in MS Office (Word, Excel), AutoCAD.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>
