 The Investments team identifies and executes high-quality opportunities that expand and strengthen the Ventas portfolio. The team combines financial insight and market intelligence to guide acquisition, disposition, and partnership decisions.  About The Role
 
 
 
 The Financial Analyst, Investments is a key contributor within the Ventas Investments group, supporting the underwriting, due diligence, approval, and closing of healthcare real estate transactions focused on senior housing. This lean, high‑performing deal team evaluates opportunities ranging from single‑asset investments to multi‑billion‑dollar portfolio transactions across senior housing, outpatient medical, life sciences, and other healthcare verticals. The Financial Analyst will work directly with investments team leadership, senior management and cross‑functional partners in a fast‑paced, analytical, and deadline‑driven environment. The successful candidates will be joining a very active investments platform, with Ventas having completed &gt; $4 billion in new investments since 4Q24. Key responsibilities include:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Build and maintain financial models to support acquisitions, joint ventures, developments, redevelopments, and debt investments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead valuation analyses and sensitization of key transaction assumptions and risk drivers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in designing and structuring asset, portfolio, and entity-level transactions of varying complexity that achieve investment criteria and satisfy counterparty need
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct detailed due diligence, including operator/tenant financial assessments, market analyses, and site visits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Synthesize findings and present underwriting conclusions to senior leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with brokers, sellers, and investment bankers to refine assumptions and validate transaction data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support Corporate Finance to ensure accurate integration of transaction economics into Ventas&rsquo;s financial projections.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare materials for executive approval, investment committee review, and closing processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Asset Management to support a smooth integration of acquired assets post‑closing.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field.
 </li>
 <li>
 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, commercial real estate, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or related analytical disciplines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be located in the Chicago, IL or New York, NY surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Argus, SQL, or financial modeling tools is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong quantitative, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 High sense of urgency, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future

 </ul>
 
 The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 &ndash; $130,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of the base salary Ventas reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting. Actual base pay will be determined based on work location, skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and business needs.
 
 
 
 
 In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and other wellness benefits under applicable plan terms.

 About The Role
 
 
 
 The Analyst, Data Science role offers a unique opportunity at an S&amp;P 500 company to apply analytical thinking and technical skills to drive core business outcomes for Ventas&rsquo; Senior Housing portfolio, with direct partnerships with finance, operations, portfolio management, and enterprise strategy. Key responsibilities include:

 Qualifications

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.

 2+ years of experience in a related analytical field (data analytics, data science, consulting, or similar), with demonstrated experience solving complex, ambiguous problems using data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be located in the New York City, NY surrounding area willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
 </li>
 <li>

 Proficiency in SQL and Python required.
