<div><p>Quality Manager Job description Plans, coordinates and directs the food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation programs designed to ensure that the plant and finished products conform to all customer, federal and state regulatory requirements, as well as, implements and maintains Ventura Foods Corporate Quality Assurance policies and procedures. Serves as the plant liaison in dealings with regulatory agencies, certification bodies and customers' expectations. Provides leadership to the QA team by thinking strategically and driving continuous improvement at the plant level. Promotes a strong Food Safety Culture by use of leadership skills.
</p><p>Duties and Responsabilities</p><ul><li>
Provides direct support, leadership and direction to QA Supervision and Sanitation staff in a 24 hour facility. Provides direct and indirect to all subordinates (QA Supervision, Sanitation Supervision, and any other QA/Sanitation staff) including making staffing decisions, providing training and development opportunities, and conducting performance reviews, coaching sessions, and weekly 1x1 meetings with direct reports.
</li><li>Maintains and improves product quality by completing product and compliance audits, investigating consumer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to resolve issues.
</li><li>Maintains the food safety aspect of the plant by periodically performing internal audits of the facility to verify that procedures mandated by the company, state and Federal governmental agencies are being adhered to. This includes GMPs, Sanitation, Food Safety Plans, and Safety. Ensures that all preventative measures as outlined in Food Safety plan are executed, monitored, and record reviewed to include corrective and preventative actions.
</li><li>Ensure that all appropriate metrics and key process indicators are measured, tracked and trended. Report on metrics as needed on QA Business Plans, 1x1's and scorecards. Maintain department budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
</li><li>Maintains all aspects of the Quality Assurance Laboratory, including microbiological, chemical, physical and sensory aspects of all food products manufactured at this facility. This also includes coordination of the sampling and testing with Production.</li><li>
Oversees the Pest Control program in the facility through coordination with contracted pest control service representatives</li><li>
Ensure all applicable training is completed for QA and Sanitation staff. Ensure a training matrix is maintained to monitor training and bench strength levels. Ensure applicable and required certifications are held by appropriate team members.</li><li>
Acts as plant liaison in dealings with regulatory agencies and customer company representatives and auditors. Reviews and maintains all required processing records and regulatory inspections and reports. Provides support to R and D on projects as needed.
</li><li>Follow all company policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Report all safety, food safety and quality issues to management. Work cooperatively and cross functionally to drive continuous improvement efforts.
</li><li>Oversee Quality team . Maintain fiscal responsibility for department budgets.</li></ul><p>
Knowledge and skills level:</p><p>
Strong leadership, team building, motivator and collaboration skills required</p><p>
Able to prioritize, be decisive, strong communication and basic computer skills are required. Data analysis is a plus.</p><p>
Bachelor of Science degree highly preferred. Food Science, Microbiology degree is a plus. Demonstrated increasing responsibility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the food or related industry. 5+ years experience in the Quality Assurance field as well as 3 years supervisory experience is desired. Statistical Analysis and Problem Solving Skills (5Why's, Fishbone Diagrams, etc.) strongly recommended. PCQI/HACCP certification a plus.
</p><p>Must be reasonably flexible and available to work alternate shifts, early/late hours, weekends, or split shifts as operational needs require</p><p>

Position Summary:</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is an IT business partner who blends technology leadership with strong business understanding to share ownership for business strategy alignment and measurable business value results. BRMs sit within the IT organization and are assigned to support specific business units and/or enterprise functions (e.g., Commercial, Operations, Finance, IT). The BRM serves as a single point of focus to align enabling capabilities and delivery partners around business priorities.</p><p>
This is achieved by stimulating, surfacing, and shaping demand for business capabilities and technology-enabled solutions, and by ensuring that the potential value from those investments is captured, optimized, and recognized. The role improves stakeholder outcomes by running a consistent operating model: shaping demand, preparing decision-ready governance inputs (including business cases and requirements), creating clear communications, and enabling measurable outcome/value reporting. The BRM Manager also collaborates closely with (and may lead, as assigned) Business Systems Analysts to ensure consistent analysis quality and demand readiness.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Major Duties and Responsibilities:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li><b>
Strategic interface &amp; demand shaping for assigned scope: </b>Build trusted relationships within the assigned business unit/function and serve as the primary IT engagement point for that scope. Stimulate, surface, and shape demand into decision-ready items (problem statement, outcomes, scope assumptions, dependencies, risks, benefit hypothesis). Support prioritization readiness by clarifying tradeoffs and sequencing recommendations; escalate decisions through established governance.</li><li><b>
Communications &amp; transparency: </b>Run a predictable communications cadence for the assigned scope (monthly/quarterly updates aligned to governance). Own the portfolio narrative, communicate priorities, tradeoffs, progress, risks, and value outcomes in a way that enables timely decisions and stakeholder confidence. Produce concise stakeholder-ready updates: what&rsquo;s in flight, what&rsquo;s next, what&rsquo;s blocked, and decisions needed. Ensure messages translate delivery status into business impact language; provide inputs to IT-level summaries / Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) as requested.</li><li><b>
Initiative progress &amp; delivery partnership (PMO/delivery coordination): </b>Partner with PMO and delivery leads to track progress, risks/issues, dependencies, and readiness for key initiatives within the scope. Drive early identification of cross-IT impacts; bring the right teams to the table to reduce blind spots and improve outcomes.</li><li><b>
Value realization &amp; stakeholder experience: </b>Coordinate outcome and value reporting with initiative owners (adoption, benefits realized, stakeholder feedback). Capture and communicate meaningful wins; ensure follow-through on agreed actions and decisions. Run stakeholder feedback loops and contribute improvement ideas that strengthen trust and predictability.</li><li><b>
Operating model adherence &amp; continuous improvement (contribute): </b>Execute the BRM operating model consistently (intake shaping governance readiness communications follow-through). Ensure intake data quality and correct categorization/taxonomy usage (e.g., capability/process tags) for transparency and reporting. Contribute suggested improvements to templates, playbook guidance, and metrics definitions through the BRM community. Support implementation readiness (requirements quality, test/UAT support, cutover/adoption readiness), including ERP/platform initiatives as applicable.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Education and Experience:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
BS / BA in applicable field (CS, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.), or 7+ years related field experience.</li><li>
Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP&reg;) or similar certification preferred.</li><li>
5+ years of functional experience in the supported business function.</li><li>
4+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.</li><li>
Strong experience with diverse business applications, especially SaaS-based and ERP systems and functionality.</li><li>
Experience contributing to implementation of business solutions (e.g., ERP and related platforms) through requirements, process documentation, testing support, training/adoption support, and stabilization.</li><li>
Experience partnering with internal governance teams (e.g., PMO, Architecture, Security, Data) as needed.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
