 We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join us as an OFE (Owner Furnished Equipment) Project Management specialist for the Power Island equipment scope of supply. The Venture Global OFE team is responsible to ensure that the properly specified and configured Power Island, Pre-treatment and Liquefaction Equipment is delivered on-time. The Venture Global OFE team is also responsible for the performance, interface and correct functionality of the Power Island, Pre-treatment and Liquefaction Equipment.
 
 
 This position will be located in Arlington, VA or Houston, TX.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
 
 
 
 The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will assist OFE Project Managers on a variety of project functions of varying complexity, and/or will manage some smaller and less complex projects on their own. This position will manage and act as a coordinator and project liaison to the key stakeholders, suppliers, engineering partners, and other throughout the project. The APM will assist in managing document control, manage databases and coordinate and track project activities and communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget parameters
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist Project Managers with overall efforts for all OFE Power Island projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the Project Management team to administer request for proposal package development, proposal review process, and support development of detailed scope of work documents for downstream contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support supplier submittals, requests for information, supplemental design instructions, and site drawing logs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify supplier compliance including quality, safety, environmental, environmental and material management programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute contracts including support for all change order management, approval of invoices, and management of schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with project controls efforts, including project cost reporting, scheduling, project work breakdown structure establishment, project set-up and closeout within the accounting system, and field progress tracking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with the development of internal and external reports including, project budgeting, cost reports, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports to all stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in internal and external project risk reviews
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with project out contract and project documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Support project team responsibilities in conjunction with site construction activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to Venture Global safety programs, trainings, and promote Safety &amp; Health adherence of project team members and suppliers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complies with all Venture Global policies and standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related degree from accredited program and 4 years of applicable experience is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written &amp; verbal communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding work environment
 </li>
 <li>
 High proficiency using Microsoft Office.

 Ability to work collaboratively with others (Suppliers, Contractors, Project Managers, Engineers and Designers) in a multi-discipline project team environment to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives.

Assistant Project Manager

The Construction Finance team supports the execution of large-scale capital projects. This team serves as the financial backbone of project delivery ensuring projects are properly funded, accurately reflected in financial statements, and supported by forward-looking analysis that enables informed decision making.

We are building a dynamic Liquidity &amp; Finance Integration unit within the team that sits at the intersection of project execution, corporate finance, and external stakeholders. This role will play a critical part in managing project liquidity, ensuring financial accuracy, and integrating complex project data into companywide financial planning and reporting.

This is a high visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful influence on how major capital projects are financed, tracked, and communicated. Candidates should be prepared to periodically work extended hours to navigate time-sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

Project Financing &amp; Liquidity Management
<ul>
<li>Manage term loan disbursement processes, including draw preparation, lender submissions, and compliance certifications.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to financing agreements and covenant requirements.</li>
<li>Track and manage project-level liquidity, including contingency reserves and escalation thresholds.</li>
</ul>
Accounting &amp; Financial Integrity
<ul>
<li>Translate construction progress and commitment data into GAAP-compliant accruals and balance sheet entries.</li>
<li>Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate and auditable financial reporting.</li>
<li>Assist in evaluating capitalization versus expense treatment decisions and ensure timely and accurate placement of assets in service.</li>
<li>Support internal controls in a public company environment, ensuring compliance and documentation rigor.</li>
</ul>
FP&amp;A Integration &amp; Forecasting
<ul>
<li>Integrate large-scale capital projects into consolidated budgets and forecasts.</li>
<li>Build and maintain detailed project cash flow models tied to schedules, execution progress, and production assumptions.</li>
<li>Develop forward-looking financial analysis to support executive decision-making.</li>
</ul>
Risk &amp; Cost Management
<ul>
<li>Produce completion cost forecasts, including probabilistic scenarios tied to schedule and execution risks.</li>
<li>Monitor and analyze contingency utilization and emerging cost pressures.</li>
<li>Identify financial risks and communicate implications clearly to leadership.</li>
</ul>
Team Build-Out &amp; Deliverables
<ul>
<li>Help design, build, and refine core reporting and analytical deliverables for a newly formed function.</li>
<li>Establish scalable processes that connect project execution data with corporate finance systems.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>4+ years of experience in finance, project finance, investment banking, FP&amp;A, accounting, or related fields.</li>
<li>Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast paced environment, and comfortable with ambiguity.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, a power user of Excel and PowerPoint.</li>
<li>Strong financial modeling skills, particularly including dynamic scenario analysis.</li>
<li>Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and present key details and conclusions.</li>
<li>A proactive, problem-solving mindset, calling attention to issues with proposed solutions already in-hand.</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.</li>
<li>Experience working with complex projects or capital-intensive businesses.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement mechanics.</li>
<li>This position is 100% office-based to support our highly collaborative environment.</li>
<li>Occasional travel to construction site(s) or Houston office will be required.</li>
<li>Experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, or other capital project driven industries preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with project financing structures and debt covenant requirements preferred.</li>
<li>Public company experience, including exposure to internal controls and compliance frameworks preferred.</li>
<li>Experience working with lenders, auditors, or external financial stakeholders preferred.</li>
