Summary:
This role is responsible for actively monitoring, researching, and analyzing upcoming projects within the Construction, Oil, Power, Energy, Infrastructure, and Industrial sectors. You will maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of projects, resulting in driving lead generation and strategic decision-making within the customers organization.
Responsibilities:
Market Monitoring:<ul><li>
Aggressively scan news sources, industry publications, government websites, conferences, and networking events to identify new and upcoming project opportunities.</li><li>
Develop and maintain a robust understanding of key project drivers, regulations, and sources across the target sectors.</li></ul>
Primary Research:<ul><li>
Conduct primary research through direct outreach to project stakeholders, including developers, contractors, government officials, and investors.</li><li>
Develop detailed project profiles, capturing key information such as project scope, timelines, budgets, status, and decision-makers.</li></ul>
Database Management:<ul><li>
Update and maintain a central database of project information, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.</li><li>
Follow existing and actively suggest data classification and tagging systems for efficient retrieval and analysis.</li><li>
Generate reports and presentations summarizing market trends, project market dynamics, and competitive intelligence.</li></ul>
Communication &amp; Collaboration:<ul><li>
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders in the target sectors.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, or relevant field.</li><li>
Minimum 2+ years of experience in market research, business intelligence, or a related field.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.</li><li>
Excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.</li><li>
Excellent research and information gathering skills.</li><li>
Highly motivated and self-directed with a strong work ethic.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul>
Desired Skills:<ul><li>
Experience in the construction, oil, power, energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.</li><li>
Experience in research and analysis will be an added advantage.</li><li>
Fluency in English, Arabic and third a second language French preferred.</li></ul>
