Job Description 
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Mechanical
COMPANY: Veolia Water Technologies
LOCATION: SULAIBIYA WASTE WATER TREATMENT &amp; RECLAMATION PLANT, KUWAIT
REPORTS TO: Mechanical Field Engineer.
Role
The Maintenance Mechanical assists in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment in the Ultrafiltration (UF)/reverse osmosis (RO) plant, working under the guidance of Mechanical Field Engineer to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist in carrying out routine maintenance &amp; repair for mechanical equipment in the UF/RO facility.</li><li>
Troubleshooting malfunctions and operating defects to make necessary repairs.</li><li>
Follow the guidance of Mechanical Field Engineer to assist with plant modification works.</li><li>
Report the status of maintenance activities to the Mechanical Field Engineer.</li><li>
Help prepare tools, materials, and work areas for assigned maintenance tasks, adhering to all safety requirements.</li><li>
Support the coordination with the Operation Team to minimize equipment downtime during maintenance.</li><li>
Learn to analyze routine checks and mechanical parameters to identify potential equipment faults.</li><li>
Assist in replacing and installing specified parts and making required adjustments under supervision.</li><li>
Adhere to EHS &amp; Quality processes and procedures, checking job sites for potential hazards.</li><li>
Maintain good housekeeping for plant facilities in cooperation with other departments.</li><li>
Be available for shift work and on-call duties as required.</li></ul> 
Qualifications<ul><li> 
Minimum Diploma in a Mechanical field.</li><li>
1-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting like a water treatment, power, or manufacturing plant.</li><li>
Basic hands-on experience with mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, and blowers.</li><li>
Ability to communicate in English (written &amp; spoken).</li><li>
Basic knowledge of MS-OFFICE.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.</li><li>
A strong commitment to safety and quality procedures.</li></ul>
