 Position Summary
 
 
 
 The Senior Director, Human Resources will report to the SVP, Human Resources and will be responsible for partnering closely with Vera&rsquo;s Commercial team leadership and employees advising on HR trends/initiatives in a collaborative manner while working towards organizational business objectives. This role will also manage a Human Resources Manager with a focus on employee relations.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Advise senior Commercial leaders in solving complex issues related to organization design, development, and change leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively defines, builds and implements value-added HR strategies and solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establishes strategies and tactics to enable the business to attract, develop, and motivate high-quality talent at all levels to support the growth objectives, opportunities, and strategies of the business.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build deep and impactful partnerships with all HR functions to provide HR solutions to key business needs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leverage complex data and people analytics to provide critical insights into business and talent trends that inform the overall Commercial and HR priorities. Provide insights in a simple, creative, and relevant way that challenges current thinking, informs business decisions, and shows how decisions impact business outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate and lead as appropriate corporate-wide programs that enhance the overall employee experience supporting growth and leading to overall business strategy success of overall.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) to ensure TA strategy is in place and fit for purpose to deliver on key capability and workforce build, with a specific focus on diverse and critical talent.
 </li>
 <li>
 May design, plan, and implement a range of HR projects and programs, including performance and development, talent management, employee engagement survey and HR policy and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure legal compliance (state, country, and regional) by monitoring and implementing applicable requirements and updates; conducting investigations; maintaining records; and overall representation of the organization.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in human resources or related, relevant discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 12+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience developing and implementing HR strategies with Commercial clients in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expert-level experience developing strategic workforce plans, from conception to implementation.
 </li>
 <li>
 A demonstrated history of success in supporting client groups in a consultive role.
 </li>
 <li>
 In depth knowledge of organizational development, process management, and change management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Brings a track record of being both an advocate for their business unit and a model and representative of strong HR best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing and mentoring successful HR talent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations with appropriate management recommendations.
 </li>
 <li>
 An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to educate and influence through formal and informal communications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly experienced in talent management, succession planning, and career growth and development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience managing and/or leading culture and change management or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recognition of the importance of being highly responsive to the needs of senior management, colleagues and staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding of related employment laws, concepts and practices related to the administration of a variety of human resources programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals from various socioeconomic, ethic and cultural backgrounds.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complicated tasks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with the design and delivery of Sales Incentive programs preferred.

 For this role, the anticipated base pay range is
 
 
 $250,000 - $280,000 USD
