Overview</b></h3><p>
We are seeking an experienced <b>Subcontractor Manager</b> to support the growth and operational success of our organization. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, onboarding, and managing subcontractors and suppliers within the telecommunications space. You will play a key role in building strong partnerships, ensuring compliance, and driving sourcing strategies that keep the business competitive in a fast-moving market.</p><p>
This is a <b>fully on-site position</b> requiring collaboration with internal teams and occasional travel.</p><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>
Develop and implement long-term <b>subcontractor sourcing strategies</b></li><li>
Lead the <b>prequalification process</b>, including internal and external vetting of subcontractors</li><li>
Create and manage a structured, efficient <b>onboarding process</b></li><li>
Monitor industry trends to proactively adjust sourcing strategies</li><li>
Act as the primary liaison between the company and subcontractors, ensuring <b>clear communication and compliance</b></li><li>
Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships to support performance and accountability</li><li>
Negotiate <b>contracts, pricing, and terms</b> to achieve optimal value</li><li>
Partner with operations and support teams to <b>select, evaluate, and track subcontractor performance</b></li><li>
Support estimating and pricing efforts using <b>market data and historical insights</b></li><li>
Assist with drafting formal subcontractor communications and notices</li><li>
Review and approve <b>weekly subcontractor invoices</b></li><li>
Provide reporting and insights to executive leadership and business development teams</li><li>
Perform additional duties as assigned</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Proven experience managing subcontractors in a relevant industry</li><li><b>
5+ years of telecommunications experience preferred</b></li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in <b>Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain</b>, or related field preferred</li><li>
Strong understanding of <b>contract terms, vendor management, and sourcing strategies</b></li><li>
Excellent <b>negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills</b></li><li>
Highly organized with strong <b>attention to detail and problem-solving ability</b></li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities and negotiations in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence outcomes</li><li>
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively</li><li>
Proficiency in <b>Microsoft Office Suite</b></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements</b></h3><ul><li>
Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer or phone</li><li>
Frequent communication via phone, video, and in person</li><li>
