We are seeking a Towing Support Specialist to work in conjunction with the Tow Resolution Team, claims staff, and claims leadership in an effort to audit and evaluate towing, recovery, and hazmat invoices.SummaryAs an important part of our Towing and Storage Resolution service, the Towing Support Specialist provides front line support for the department. By gathering documentation, auditing information for accuracy, and providing a detailed breakout of all charges the Transportation Support Specialist facilitates the settlement process. This position serves as a critical mouthpiece for the organization, often operating as our first point of contact with involved parties.Responsibilities<ul><li>Review assignment details including policy coverage and existing documents</li><li>Create time bound action plans based on the individual file</li><li>Accurately document files to reflect all work performed</li><li>Research, identify, and utilize resources to gather necessary information to resolve the assignment</li><li>Prepare a completed breakout of charges through interviewing the responding recovery agency, whether it be a tow yard or hazmat company.</li><li>Communicate in a professional manner with tow yards, hazmat companies and insurance carriers to reach agreements on the apportionment of charges</li><li>Deliver clear and detailed summary of the breakout to other team members in order to bring the file to a final resolution</li><li>Exhibit Veritas Core Values and professionalism at all times</li><li>Ability to work in an environment where friendly, efficient, and time-bound service delivery always requires team effort and cooperation with peers.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong time management and organizational skills</li><li>Polished written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Sufficient computer literacy with email, MS Office and related business and communication tools</li><li>Exceptional Microsoft Excel knowledge</li><li>Google Suite experience preferred</li><li>Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines</li><li>2 years of professional experience in the commercial transportation industry</li><li>Preferred work experience involving billing in the towing and storage industry</li><li>Invoice auditing experience, bookkeeping or accounting knowledge base: at least 2 year experience preferred</li><li>Excellent professional writing skills</li></ul>Veritas Administrators is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran.
