What you&rsquo;ll be doing&hellip;</b></h3><p><br>
You&rsquo;ll make sure our outside plant facilities are in tip-top condition! Your know-how and commitment to excellence will ensure that Verizon&rsquo;s outside facilities operate at maximum efficiency and preparedness.<br>
<br>
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>
Placing, rearranging and removing outside plant, including aerial, underground, submarine, buried, block and house cables, poles, and associated hardware/fixtures.</p></li><li><p>
Connecting wires and cables to terminals and attaching/detaching various kinds of hardware to wires, cables, building or poles.</p></li><li><p>
Reading and interpreting engineering work orders.</p></li><li><p>
Performing construction work using designated equipment (i.e. digging holes, placing poles, etc.).</p></li><li><p>
Operating Company motor vehicles of varying gross weights to transport equipment.</p></li><li><p>
Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft, perceiving differences in wire and cable colors, and moving/lifting items generally not exceeding 100 lbs.</p></li><li><p>
Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts as determined by the needs of the business.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

You know outside plant and construction and are anxious to put your knowledge and skills to work on America&rsquo;s fastest and most reliable network. You like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things. You know that the whole team needs to work together to win&mdash;and you take pride in a job well done.</p><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
You&rsquo;ll need to have:</b></h3><ul><li><p>
Valid state driver&rsquo;s license with a satisfactory driving record.</p></li><li><p>
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Even better if you have one or more of the following:</b></h3><ul><li><p>
A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience.</p></li><li><p>
Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training</p></li></ul><p></p><p>

The weekly wage range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $776.50 - $2,125.50.</div><p></p>
