VGS is seeking a full-time <b>Passenger Service Specialist</b> in <b>Kuwait</b> to support the Air Terminal Ground Handling Services. Perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, instructions and the Performance Work Statement.</p><p><b>
Your Impact</b></p><ul><li>
Ensure passenger service functions are IAW AFI 24-605, Volumes, DTR 4500.9-R, Parts I and III and all guidance listed in the PWS.</li><li>
Verify that processed passengers using automated / non-automated systems are accurate and ensure manual procedures are executed without error.</li><li>
Monitor the maintenance and operation of terminal security equipment and reports issues to the Passenger Manager.</li><li>
Ensure proper execution of the Lost &amp; Found and Mishandled baggage procedures.</li><li>
Ensure proper posting of Space Available and Space Required passenger listings.</li><li>
Monitor personnel training and ensures compliance when determining travel eligibility.</li><li>
Verify GATES X-man Excel file inputs are accurate as per the PWS.</li><li>
Work with remote sites to ensure timely delivery of passenger information as per the PWS.</li><li>
Control all government provided equipment and ensure proper use; reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.</li><li>
Ensure passengers are properly assisted with visa and passport issues as per developed procedures.</li><li>
Monitor transportation and lodging procedures for in-transit thru-load passengers are being completed as per guidance.</li><li>
Verify collection of orders for all flights as per the PWS and regulations.</li><li>
Ensure personnel are properly trained IAW applicable regulations and requirement of the PWS.</li><li>
Enforce the screening exemption letter and provides the Passenger Manager updates when required.</li><li>
Monitor sterile passenger holding areas ensuring they are properly used and maintained.</li><li>
Ensure passengers are briefed on the AMC Commander&rsquo;s comment box location and reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.</li><li>
Verify personnel are properly enforcing hazardous/dangerous goods that are acceptable/unacceptable for passenger flights.</li><li>
Ensure baggage is separated by destination as per the PWS.</li><li>
Monitor and ensure mishandled baggage is documented as per the PWS.</li><li>
Ensure funds are handled in accordance with establish guidelines and help the Passenger Service Manager to resolve issues found during internal audits.</li><li>
Ensure proper completion of the Mishandled Baggage Summary report as per the PWS.</li><li>
Process Distinguished Visitors (DV&rsquo;s) working with Protocol office.</li><li>
Perform Supplemental duties in Passenger Service or other work centers as required by Passenger Service Manager.</li></ul><p><b>

Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs.</li><li>
Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently</li><li>
Must maintain a valid driver&rsquo;s license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date</li><li>
Must maintain a valid passport from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date. Passport must have a minimum of 6 blank pages prior to OCONUS mobilization.</li><li>
Must be CAC eligible and able to gain and maintain authorized entry onto US military installations.</li><li>

Passenger Service Specialist - ATGHS (USN)

Operate GATES/GDSS systems as required.</li><li>
 Assists with data base integrity by reviewing all required GATES reports when requested.</li><li>
 Ensure cargo and baggage are properly handled utilizing the load plan lAW applicable instructions.</li><li>
 Validate, select, stage and load aircraft IAW applicable guidance.</li><li>
 Build-up/ break-down baggage/mix pallets, multi-pallet trains and loose cargo.</li><li>
 Offload/ on load cargo on surface and air conveyance.</li><li>
 Accurately weigh and record cargo and baggage.</li><li>
 Ensure all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements are properly and accurately accomplished.</li><li>
 Perform terminal inventories.</li><li>
 Properly store and facilitate onward movement of all cargo.</li><li>
 Coordinate timely cargo and mail pick-up/release.</li><li>
 Reconfigure cargo to meet aircraft envelope.</li><li>
 Accomplish manual procedures when systems are down.</li><li>
 Escort trucks, buses, personnel and other surface conveyances.</li><li>
 Ensure maximum aircraft utilization based upon available airlift and existing port backlogs.</li><li>
 Facilitate on-time aircraft departures.</li><li>
 Ensure all trash is removed from aircraft other than AMC Contracted Aircraft.</li><li>
 Ensure water coolers, ice chests and freezer are stocked with water and ice for each shift.</li><li>
 Ensure all vehicles are parked per the published vehicle parking plan.</li><li>
 Perform Wing-Walker duties.</li><li>
 Process cargo lAW applicable instructions.</li><li>
 Operate K-loaders, forklifts, buses, tugs, vans or other required vehicles safely, inspect daily utilizing check lists and AFTO forms and ensure vehicles in need of repair or service are properly turned in to maintenance.</li><li>
Perform Cargo Processing, Special Handling, and Load Planning functions in accordance with AFI24-605, Volumes, DTR 4500-9 1Parts 2 and 3, and AFJMAN 24-204 and other applicable instructions.</li><li>
Perform Joint Inspections.</li><li>
Perform aircraft ground services IAW Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standard (AFOSHSTD) 91-100, T.O. 00-25-172, AFI 11-218, and applicable aircraft T.O.&rsquo;s.</li><li>
Position, deposition, connect, disconnect to / from aircraft all ground support equipment to include 150 lb Halon Fire Bottles.</li><li>
Perform follow-me marshaling to include blocking, chocking, wingtip/tail clearance guard duties.</li><li>
Perform pushback and towing duties for all transiting aircraft.</li><li>
Wash AGE equipment as scheduled.</li><li>
Store and park AGE equipment per the published parking plan.</li><li>
Operate/inspect light carts positioned on aircraft parking locations.</li><li>
Perform supplemental duties in Aircraft Services or other work centers as required by Supervisor, Lead and Management.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Air Freight Specialist

VGS is seeking a full-time AMCC Specialist at our location in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, instructions and the Performance Work Statement.</p><p><b>
Your Impact</b></p><ul><li>
Perform ATOC, Command and Control, Ramp Controller, Cape Forecasting, PPR, Data Records.</li><li>
Facilitate maximum aircraft utilization and on-time aircraft departures, including resolving situational issues, gathering, processing and disseminating information in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 24-605 V2, AMCI 10-2102 V6 and other applicable instructions.</li><li>
Meet arriving and departing aircraft, reconcile manifests with onboard cargo and provide outbound cargo briefing to the aircrew.</li><li>
Maintain AMCC events logs.</li><li>
Provide detailed information concerning potential delays, actual delays, or aborts to appropriate agencies/personnel.</li><li>
Establish, coordinate, or maintain all necessary logs and reports mandated by C2/ATOC and terminal operations.</li><li>
Report all aircraft mishaps/incidents and unique events to the appropriate Airlift Control Center and COR personnel.</li><li>
Provide relevant briefings and associated documentation to the aircrew.</li><li>
Execute Emergency Quick Reaction Checklists (QRCs).</li><li>
Monitor and input data into GATES, GDSS / GDSS2 and other systems.</li><li>
Assist with Wing-Walker duties.</li><li>
Create Airlift Capability Schedules.</li><li>
Extract the necessary data from pre-published schedules / amendments and prepare, as a minimum, a daily mission schedule and provide updates.</li><li>
Distribute information to all terminal work centers and other sections as required by Performance Work Statement (PWS).</li><li>
Monitor Cargo Capability and receive / monitor airlift space assignments and control the port management levels by channel based on cargo/passenger backlogs.</li><li>
Control opportune airlift and Special Assignment Airlift Mission (SAAM).</li><li>
Coordinate SAAM requirements with users, air terminal work centers, and higher headquarters.</li><li>
Perform supplemental duties in ATOC / AMCC or other work centers as required by AMCC Manager.</li></ul><p><b>
