Job Description 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead and manage the preparation and submission of R&amp;D tax credit claims for clients in the UK and Ireland, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and HMRC/Revenue guidelines.</li><li>
Liaise directly with internal and external stakeholders (including C-suite, finance, and technical teams) to gather technical and financial information required for robust R&amp;D claims.</li><li>
Review and analyse technical project documentation to identify eligible R&amp;D activities and qualifying expenditure.</li><li>
Draft clear, concise, and technically accurate R&amp;D reports and supporting documentation for submission to tax authorities.</li><li>
Provide strategic advice on maximising R&amp;D tax incentives and identifying new opportunities for claims.</li><li>
Lead and mentor a team of technologists and/or R&amp;D Consultants, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.</li><li>
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in R&amp;D tax legislation and best practice and communicate these to internal teams.</li><li>
Support business development activities and M&amp;A.</li><li>
Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service.</li><li>
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, audit, advisory) to deliver integrated solutions.</li><li>
Ensure all files and documentation are maintained in accordance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Review and interpret contracts to ensure eligibility and compliance for R&amp;D tax claims.</li><li>
Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives, including automation and knowledge sharing.</li><li>
Participate in regular team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants &ndash; England and Wales), CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser), ATT (Association of Tax Technicians), or AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification preferred. Candidates with a 2:1 university degree are typically required for ACA/CTA routes; ATT/AAT may be considered for those without a degree, but BDO and similar firms usually require a degree for ACA.</li><li>
5&ndash;10 years&rsquo; experience in R&amp;D tax advisory, with a strong track record of successful claims in the UK and/or Irish markets.</li><li>
Experience working with or for professional services firms (e.g., BDO, EY, Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, or similar).</li><li>
Business-level English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Strong technical writing and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legislation and explain it clearly to clients.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams of technologists or R&amp;D Consultants.</li><li>
Experience in reviewing and interpreting contracts relevant to R&amp;D tax claims.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing client relationships.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence of ongoing training/learning, as required by professional associations.</li><li>
Experience with process automation, data analysis, or workflow tools (e.g., Power BI, ServiceNow, or similar) is desirable but not essential.</li><li>
Strong project management skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.</li></ul>
Professional Development<ul><li>
Maintain membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., ICAEW, CIOT, ATT, AAT) and comply with their CPD (Continuous Professional Development) requirements.</li><li>

Job Description 
As a Senior Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Consultant, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of Oracle Cloud PaaS integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM) and external systems. You will provide day-to-day support and quality assurance for a variety of customers. You will work closely with Technical Leads, Functional Leads, and Client Stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and performant integration solutions leveraging OIC, Oracle SaaS APIs, and complementary OCI services.
This role demands strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Visual Builder, and exposure to technologies such as Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle API Gateway, and OCI Vault. You are expected to mentor junior developers, own technical deliverables, and drive best practices for integration and automation.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Troubleshoot production issues and persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes in OIC.</li><li>
Design, build and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including Application Integration (Orchestration), Scheduled Integrations, and File-based Integrations</li><li>
Develop and support REST/SOAP-based integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) and on-premises/cloud applications</li><li>
Implement B2B flows (if applicable), error handling, retry mechanisms, and OIC monitoring/logging best practices</li><li>
Support all aspects of Cloud Quarterly Releases form Impact Assessment through testing and defect support on technical components</li><li>
Utilise Oracle Visual Builder for custom UIs and Oracle Process Automation (OPA) for workflow orchestration (where needed)</li><li>
Work with Oracle SaaS services (ERP, HCM, SCM) to consume OTBI, BICC, FBDI, HDL, and PVOs for integration scenarios</li><li>
Design and configure security components such as OCI Vault, Secrets, Certificates, and OAuth2 flows</li><li>
Collaborate with clients on data mapping, transformation logic, and interface contracts</li><li>
Drive performance tuning and optimisation for long-running integrations and large payload handling</li><li>
Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and guide junior developers and offshore teams</li><li>
Prepare design documents, integration specifications, and deployment artefacts</li><li>
Support DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation for OIC code promotion (optional but desirable)</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
A minimum of 6+ years&rsquo; experience as a technical support analyst or similar role.</li><li>
Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud experience.</li><li>
Oracle ERP and HCM integration delivery using Oracle Integration Cloud</li><li>
Experience of system interfaces (predominantly on a PaaS Cloud)</li><li>
Provide expert-level technical knowledge in Oracle PaaS products, including OIC, VBCS, PCS/OPA, ATP, and others.</li><li>
Experience building integration in OIC using REST/SOAP Services.</li><li>
Experience building integrations in OIC, building and Uploading FBDI Files to Oracle ERP Cloud</li><li>
Knowledge of Oracle Interface tables in financial and procurement modules.</li><li>
Hands-On Experience of XSLT</li><li>
Hands-On Experience on data migration/integration methods i.e. SOAP and Rest Web Services, FBDI and ADF DI</li><li>
Hands-On Experience on reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher</li><li>
Hands-On development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST using ORDS.</li><li>
Good Knowledge on building custom ESS jobs</li><li>
Hands-on with development &amp; unit testing of integration components &amp; web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC</li><li>
Hands-on with development &amp; unit testing of VBCS components</li><li>
Hands-on with development &amp; unit testing of ADF components using Jdeveloper</li><li>
