Vertical Cold Storage

<div><div><b>Job Summary:</b> This person will be responsible for oversight of Customer Inventory by coordinating with Operations Team through receiving, warehousing, and distribution services.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Essential Functions:</b></div><ul><li>
Maintain Inventory accuracy by auditing and cycle counting receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing processes and procedures to produce customer service excellence.</li><li>
Ensure correct and timely handling of product within the established Vertical Cold Storage policies and procedures. Utilizing appropriate, defined practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>
Control inventory by conducting physical counts and reconciling with system software.</li><li>
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by following and monitoring security procedures and protocols.</li><li>
Protect shipments by investigating causes of damages and discrepancies in consignments.</li><li>
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and issuing work orders for repair.</li><li>
Enforce safety policies by conducting inspections, counseling employees, and identifying and correcting infractions.</li><li>
Collaborate departmental workflow between warehouse, production, office, and corporate administrative departments.</li></ul><p></p><div><b><br>
Job Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
High school diploma or its equivalent required.</li><li>
Prior reach truck and cherry picker experience.</li><li>
1-3 years' experience in warehouse/distribution preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge and experience in Safety and OSHA desired.</li><li>
Strong customer service skills with ability to read and write English.</li><li>
Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word &amp; Outlook.</li><li>
Ability to communicate at all levels.</li><li>
Problem solving abilities with attention to detail.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Physical Requirements:</b>
</div><ul><li>Employee is regularly required to stand, walk for 8 or more hours in a day.</li><li>
Effectively handle lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds frequently.</li><li>
Employee is frequently required to bend, twist, use hand to finger, handle, controls and climb or balance, reach with hands and arms.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
