<div>Overview:

Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.
<ul><li>Responsibilities/Essential Functions:</li></ul>

Prepares appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor; Verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card; segregates like items together in a sling; Identifies counts, and totals ruin or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card; Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities; Other duties as assigned.
<ul><li>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</li></ul>

Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions; Working knowledge of basic math skills; Good verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to meet attendance schedule.
<ul><li>Working Environment/Safety Requirements:</li></ul>

Work is performed in a warehouse setting and regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold conditions as well as dust and noise. Work is based on a shift schedule and may include weekends. Overtime required as needed. Physical Requirements Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions; Requires the ability to move or maneuver slings or carriers weighing up to 220 lbs; Requires the ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull product weighing up to 50 lbs; Requires bending, reaching, pulling, and pressing at shoulder level and below waist area; Requires the use of hands for grasping and other manipulations; Requires standing and walking for long periods of time.

Overview:

Successful Shuttle Drivers must be able to balance work in a safe and expedient manner with accurately transporting merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.

Shift: Full time, Monday-Friday, shift start times vary between 1pm &amp; 3pm.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Safely operates a company vehicle/truck to transport products between Market Centers and remote/depot locations on time and according to route delivery and facility processing schedules.</li>
<li>Confirms route scheduled and details with Market Center Production Manager.</li>
<li>Verifies daily preventative maintenance of vehicle/truck, schedules regular maintenance for tractor/trailer, and maintains proper operator documentation, driver duty status logs, daily vehicle inspections reports, and schedules.</li>
<li>Manages daily route to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.</li>
<li>Loads/unloads product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.</li>
<li>Take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others in the Market Center and across the road transportation.</li>
<li>Use safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies.</li>
<li>Knows and adheres to Federal, State, and local highway transportation laws and regulations.</li>
<li>Carries at all times the required driving license and medical certification as required by state/federal regulations.</li>
<li>Perform additional duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities described above.</li>
</ul>
Working Environment/Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extreme hot/cold temperatures depending on geographical location.</li>
<li>Fast-paced environment requiring irregular and long hours.</li>
<li>Exposure to odors/fumes, noise, and vibration.</li>
<li>Must be able to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance.</li>
<li>Must be able to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs., stand/walk while loading and unloading, frequently sit while driving for prolonged periods between locations.</li>
<li>Requires the use of hands for grasping and other manipulations.</li>
<li>Must be able to occasionally push and pull a force up to 50+ lbs. moving carts and pallets.</li>
<li>Requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul>
<li>Must be a minimum of 23 years of age</li>
<li>Minimum 1-year full time semi-tractor trailer driving experience required</li>
</ul>
Education
<ul>
<li>High school degree or equivalent preferred</li>
</ul>
License Requirements/ Certifications
<ul>
<li>Current valid CDL-A Driver&rsquo;s License</li>
<li>Must meet minimum DMV/MVR points per company policy</li>
<li>Current DOT Medical Certification</li>
</ul>

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 depending on circumstances including an applicant&rsquo;s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
