<div>We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer for a 100% remote position supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Data Management Program. This role is responsible for developing automated tests, validating APIs and data workflows, and ensuring the quality and reliability of middleware platforms, enterprise applications, and integrated healthcare solutions. The selected candidate will work closely with developers, analysts, and quality leaders to improve test coverage, release confidence, and overall software quality.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develop and maintain automated tests across API, data, middleware, and application layers.</li><li>
Collaborate with software developers, analysts, and functional testers to design and execute end-to-end testing solutions.</li><li>
Design and execute test cases aligned with functional and non-functional requirements defined in user stories.</li><li>
Perform data validation activities using SQL and other data analysis tools.</li><li>
Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks for middleware, API, and data-layer testing.</li><li>
Plan and execute regression testing activities aligned with release and change management processes.</li><li>
Provide testing estimates and ensure testing activities meet project schedules and delivery milestones.</li><li>
Troubleshoot software issues and support root cause analysis efforts in collaboration with delivery teams and business stakeholders.</li><li>
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of enterprise testing strategies and best practices.</li><li>
Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, and quality outcomes.</li><li>
Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another technical discipline.</li><li>
5+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering.</li><li>
Experience executing both manual and automated test scripts.</li><li>
Strong experience with API, middleware, integration, and data testing.</li><li>
Experience using Selenium, TestNG, or comparable automation frameworks and tools.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of Jira for test management and defect tracking.</li><li>
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline-based test automation practices.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively with developers and technical teams in Agile environments.</li><li>
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.</li></ul>
Additional Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other healthcare-related organizations.</li><li>
Experience with ReadyAPI, SoapUI, Groovy scripting, performance testing, or regression testing.</li><li>
Familiarity with AWS services including CloudWatch, Step Functions, Lambda, and canary validation techniques.</li><li>
Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments.</li><li>
Knowledge of accessibility testing practices and Section 508 compliance tools.</li></ul>

Test Automation Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

 VetsEZ is currently looking for a
 
 Scrum Master
 
 for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government project. This role will lead Agile practices across multiple delivery teams, support backlog management and prioritization efforts, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Owners, engineers, stakeholders, and government personnel in a collaborative Agile environment utilizing tools such as Jira and GitHub.
 
 
 The candidate must reside within the continental US.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, retrospectives, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and related Scrum activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Remove blockers and impediments impacting team productivity and delivery timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build collaborative relationships that promote transparency, accountability, and innovation across cross-functional Agile teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote Agile best practices and serve as a resource for Agile processes, team coordination, and delivery execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise government stakeholders on opportunities for process standardization and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support backlog flow, work prioritization, and visibility into team deliverables and commitments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track team progress, dependencies, risks, and impediments while escalating issues as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to maintain alignment on project goals and delivery expectations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate effective communication and coordination across delivery teams, leadership, and partner organizations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support documentation efforts, meeting outputs, status tracking, and readiness activities for program reviews and events.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to various projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a collaborative mindset.

 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile lead supporting technical delivery teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience supporting large-scale software development, system integration, or data management projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and the SAFe framework.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience leading Agile development teams supporting automated deployments, scaling, and operational management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience facilitating meetings, briefings, and presentations with technical teams and senior leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and GitHub.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to track team metrics, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress to support continuous improvement initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong technical documentation and organizational skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
