 The Role:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 This full time role, based in VHR&rsquo;s Abu Dhabi office, will present an individual with the opportunity to commence a fast paced and exciting career. This comes with excellent prospects and financial reward.
 
 
 
 
 
 Utilising our accounting applications and middleware technologies, your tasks will support many aspects of purchase and sales ledger, bank and account reconciliation including:
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Posting purchase invoices to the Company&rsquo;s accounting applications
 
 
 &bull; Raising sales invoices on the Company&rsquo;s accounting applications
 
 
 &bull; Submission of sales invoices to customers
 
 
 &bull; Payroll processing via the UAE WPS Wages Protection System
 
 
 &bull; Management of Petty Cash
 
 
 &bull; Company Credit Card and Petty Cash Reconciliation
 
 
 &bull; Posting supplier payments to our online banking system
 
 
 &bull; Registering and updating customer and supplier information on the Company&rsquo;s systems
 
 
 &bull; Support Bank and Account Reconciliation
 
 
 &bull; Support Credit Control function where required
 
 
 &bull; Processing internal staff and contractors&rsquo; expenses
 
 
 &bull; Developing a relationship with Abu Dhabi Exchange
 
 
 &bull; Occasional driver duties: hand delivery of invoices to clients, collect and bank cheques where required
 
 
 &bull; Note and report discrepancies found in records
 
 
 &bull; Answering and dealing with all queries from contractors, suppliers and clients at UAE time &ndash; face to face meetings with Relationship Managers
 
 
 &bull; Filing and administration

 Candidate Requirements:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 &bull; MUST ALREADY BE BASED IN UAE
 
 
 &bull; MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVING LICENSE AND VEHICLE
 
 
 &bull; Must have at least 2 years of experience working in Accounts payable department
 
 
 &bull; The right candidate must be professional, well-spoken and presentable
 
 
 &bull; Strong Maths skills
 
 
 &bull; Strong attention to detail
 
 
 &bull; Be able to work to deadlines
 
 
 &bull; Self-motivated, highly organised and attentive
 
 
 &bull; Good customer service experience
 
 
 &bull; Show willingness to assist with general business administration duties
 
 
 &bull; Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is imperative
 
 
 &bull; Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Sage Intacct is desirable although not essential
